Suzuki rode in its first BS6-compliant big bike – the 2020 V-Strom 650 XT. The only change it has received is in its 645cc, V-twin engine which now emits cleaner gases. In spite of that, the power figures are nearly the same as before at 70bhp and 62Nm. Considering the changes, Suzuki has bestowed the V-Strom 650 XT BS6 with a hefty price hike of Rs 1.38 lakh over its BS4 counterpart as it costs Rs 8.84 lakh now.

Aprilia SXR 160 production to begin soon
Piaggio has announced that the production of its upcoming maxi-scooter, the Aprilia SXR 160, will begin in India soon. The motorcycle was supposed to be launched this month but it got pushed ahead. The SXR 160 has been designed and developed in Italy, especially for the Indian market. While it borrows its underpinnings from the SR 160 in revised form, the styling, features and other aspects of the scooter have been designed to deliver convenience and everyday usability. It is likely to be the most expensive Aprilia offering in India.
