Honda Activa 6G special edition launch
Honda launched the new limited-edition model of the Activa 6G. It comes in Deluxe and H-Smart variants that are priced at Rs. 80,734 and Rs. 82,734, respectively. Available on sale for a limited period, the Activa 6G boasts honeycomb-like graphics and edgy stripes on the front apron and side panels. Moreover, there’s a 3D ‘Activa’ decal on its body panels while the Matte Steel Black Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue colour options are unique to the limited edition model.
Jawa 42 Dual Tone and New Yezdi Roadster launch
JawaYezdi Motorcycles launched new variants of the Jawa 42 and the Yezdi Roadster in India. While the former gets a new dual-tone variant with subtle enhancements, the latter features cruiser-like ergonomics and other updates. The prices of the new 42 Dual Tone start from Rs. 1.98 lakh and the new Roadster starts from Rs. 2.09 lakh.
Bajaj launched the new Pulsar N150 India. While it is based on the Pulsar P150 mechanically, the bodywork is closely inspired by the bigger N160 and N250. It continues to be powered by the 149.6cc single-cylinder motor that makes 14.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm at 6,000rpm. Available in two colour options, the new Pulsar N150 is pegged at Rs. 1.17 lakh.
Honda SP125 Sport Edition launch
Honda rolled out the new Sports edition of the SP 125 at Rs. 90,567 which makes it close to Rs. 1,000 more expensive than the disc brake trim. The Sports edition just bears visual differences like bolder graphics all across its body panels along with a matte-finished exhaust muffler, as opposed to the chrome muffler on its standard counterpart.
Yamaha MT-03 and R3 launch timeline
At the recently concluded MotoGP Bharat at the Buddh International Circuit, Yamaha India showcased its upcoming 300cc twins, the YZF R3 and the MT-03, in India. Simultaneously, we also learnt that the Japanese brand is planning to launch both bikes in December this year. With the 300-400cc segment gaining momentum, the Yamaha R3 and the MT-03 will have quite a few rivals waiting for them like the KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR310, and the KTM RC 390.
