The last week was all about new product launches and unveils in India and, following our Sunday ritual, we bring you a round-up all the important bike updates from the week.
KTM 250 Duke new colour
The KTM 250 Duke was launched in a new Ebony Black shade. Everything on this bike, from the fuel tank cover to the side panels as well as the tail section, is covered in a deep-black colour. Even the wheels are coloured in black, adding to the looks of the bike. However, we can see a dash of orange around the ‘250 Duke’ stickers which manages to add some contrast.
Triumph Scrambler 400X new colour
Triumph Motorcycles India launched a new colour for the Scrambler 400X. It is called Pearl Metallic White which sports a white fuel tank along with black stripe that runs from the top to the bottom of the tank and adds contrast to the appearance of the bike. In fact, even the brown seats go well with the white colour on the fuel tank. One can also spot the blacked-out exhaust pipe, right from the headers to the tail pipe.
Kawasaki KLX 230 unveil
The much anticipated Kawasaki KLX 230 was officially unveiled in India last week. The dual sport motorcycle has been undergoing testing in India, with some localised components, for quite some time. Kawasaki has thrown open bookings at Rs. 5,000. The price, however, will be revealed in December, perhaps at the India Bike Week 2024. This is a profoundly off-road-oriented motorcycle in terms of dimensions, geometry, and components and will go up against the Hero Xpulse 200 4V.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 unveil
Bajaj Auto is all set to launch its new 125cc sporty commuter, the Pulsar N125. Ahead of that, the company officially unveiled the motorcycle through a social media video. The motorcycle boasts a design which is unique to it and unlike any other Pulsar. The motorcycle comes equipped with a fully digital console which will perhaps get Bluetooth connectivity as well. The engine is likely to be the same unit as on the existing Pulsar NS125 but the steel perimeter frame, alloy wheels, and disc brake seem to be borrowed from the Pulsar N150.
Royal Enfield Classic Electric unveil date
Royal Enfield is finally entering the world of electric motorcycles. It will unveil its first-ever electric bike on 4 November – a day before the 2024 EICMA show begins. Its patent picture revealed that it will have modern retro styling with some inspiration from the Classic range. It is also evident that there’s a large battery pack placed between the chassis, which has an interesting design. We will bring you the most exhaustive coverage of this electric Classic on 4 November from Italy.
