KTM launched the more affordable X variant of the 390 Adventure in India. Priced at Rs 2.80 lakh, it’s substantially cheaper than the standard trim which costs Rs 3.38 lakh. The price cut has been achieved by eliminating some features like traction control, quick shifter, and cornering ABS. The motorcycle also misses out on a TFT screen and incorporates an LCD console instead.
TVS Raider 125 new variant launch
TVS Motor Company introduced the single-seat variant of the Raider 125. It is priced at Rs 93,719 which makes it the most affordable trim of the motorcycle yet. Now, the Raider is available in four variants and the top-end SmartXonnect trim sets you back by Rs 1,00,820. Besides featuring a single-piece seat, the new iteration of the Raider 125 remains largely the same as the rest of the models.
Keeway K300 R, K300 N price cut
Keeway brought down the prices of its 300cc offerings by a substantial margin in India. While the K300 N is now cheaper by Rs 30,000, the K300 R received an even bigger price cut of Rs 55,000. As a result, all colour variants of the former cost Rs 2.55 lakh and the latter is pegged at Rs 2.65 lakh now. This has been achieved by bringing the import costs down and passing the benefits to the customers.
2023 Yamaha R3, MT 03 bookings
Yamaha is all set to pump more excitement into its portfolio by launching a few big bikes soon. Unofficial bookings of some of these offerings like the R3, MT 03, MT07, and R7 have commenced at select dealerships across India. While the 300cc motorcycles are expected to be officially launched in June this year, the 700cc, parallel-twin offerings will come to our shores around October.
Ather Energy revamped its electric scooter portfolio by introducing two new configurations of the 450X – standard and Pro-Pack. Ather has essentially renamed the older version of the scooter as Pro-Pack which costs Rs 1,28,443. The standard version, meanwhile, is the newer and more affordable trim which costs Rs 98,183 and misses out on a bunch of modern features which justify the lower price tag.
