The last week was deprived of any new two-wheeler launches in India. However, it was still an eventful one owing to a bunch of new unveils and major announcements. In case you missed these updates, here’s a quick roundup.
KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro bookings
KTM India has officially opened pre-bookings for 2025 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R. Customers can reserve the bike of their choice at authorised dealerships across India by paying the minimum booking amount. The KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R were recently showcased for the first time in the country at the India Bike Week (IBW). Both motorcycles garnered a lot of interest and it goes to show the curiosity around it.
TVS 300cc ADV spied
TVS’ upcoming 300cc adventure bike was spied testing for the first time. Although unconfirmed, the upcoming ADV could be called the TVS Apache RTX 300. The spy images suggest that the TVS ADV could be a road-biased adventure touring motorcycle with limited off-road credentials. The test mule was running on alloy wheels and resembles a 19/17-inch wheels combination. That said, TVS could also introduce an off-road capable version with 21/17-inch spoke wheels as an option. But, that variant will come later.
Triumph Speed T4 price drop
Triumph announced a year-end offer for its entry-level motorcycle, the Speed T4, in India. The company has dropped the price of the bike by Rs. 18,000 and the motorcycle is now pegged at Rs. 1.99 lakh, as against the previous price of Rs. 2.17 lakh, ex-showroom. The offer is valid from 14 December till the stock lasts. Bajaj may have rolled out the offer due to not receiving as good a response as it would’ve expected for the T4 initially.
2025 TVS Ronin unveiled
TVS unveiled the updated model of the Ronin in India. For 2025, the motorcycle gets two new colours and dual-channel ABS for the mid-spec variant. TVS showed the 2025 Ronin in Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember paint schemes at Motosoul. These colours replace Delta Blue and Stargaze Black and will be sold alongside the rest of the older shades. Moreover, dual-channel ABS will come standard in the mid-spec DS variant which was equipped with single-channel ABS so far.
Kawasaki discounts
Kawasaki’s attempts to boost its sales through discounts seem to be continuing since the festive season. The company is currently offering the Ninja 650, Ninja 500, and Ninja 300 with a discount of Rs. 45,000, Rs. 15,000, and Rs. 30,000, respectively. The Japanese brand might be trying to clear out old stock before launching updated models of these motorcycles.
