Yamaha MT-15 details leaked
The Yamaha MT-15 has been one of the most anticipated motorcycles. And to the delight of enthusiasts, a document by the transport department of New Delhi was leaked which revealed quite a few details about the bike. According to this document, the naked street bike uses the same 155cc motor that powers the fully-faired YZF R15 V3. The gross weight of the bike is 288kg, wheelbase is 1335mm and width is 800mm. Moreover, the length and height of the bike are 2020mm and 1070mm, respectively. It will rival the newly launched KTM 125 Duke.
2019 KTM 390 Adventure spied
The KTM 390 Adventure was spied testing in India yet again, giving the fans more reasons to be enthralled about it. This time, it was equipped with panniers and top box which further accentuate its touring credentials. Reportedly, it was shod with dual-purpose Continental TKC 70 tyres with alloy wheels. A spoke wheel version is also expected to be on offer. Powering the bike will be the same 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that does duty in the 390 Duke, but in a different state of tune.
2019 Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT launched
Suzuki launched the 2019 version of its middle-weight adventure tourer, the V-Strom 650 XT ABS. The pricing of the motorcycle remains the same at Rs 7.46 lakhs (ex-showroom) and the only upgrades are the addition of hazard lamps and side reflectors. Powered by a 650cc, liquid-cooled motor, the V-Strom 650 XT churns out 71bhp of power and 62Nm of peak torque.
Bajaj Pulsar 150 twin disc and Pulsar 180 get ABS
Bajaj has updated two of its highly popular motorcycles, the Pulsar 150 twin disc and the Pulsar 180, with ABS. After the addition of the safety net, both the models have now become dearer by around Rs 7,000. The Pulsar 150 twin disc ABS has been priced at Rs 87,226 and the Pulsar 180 ABS costs Rs 92,563 (both prices are ex-showroom). These ABS models will hit the dealerships shortly.
Bajaj Pulsar 180F image leaked
Bajaj is set to launch the half-faired model of the Pulsar 180 which will carry a styling similar to the Pulsar 220F. To be called as the Pulsar 180F, the motorcycle will feature projector lamps and matte colour scheme along with neon highlights on its body panels. It will remain the same in terms of engine and cycle parts. It is expected to be priced at Rs 85,011 (ex-showroom) and a few dealerships have already started accepting bookings at a token amount of Rs 2,000.
KTM 790 Duke spied in India for the first time
KTM's upcoming flagship for the Indian market, the 790 Duke, was spied in India for the first time. The motorcycle was reportedly spotted at Bajaj's Chakan plant. It will arrive in India as a CKD (completely knocked down) product owing to which the pricing is expected to be competitive. To be priced around Rs 8.5 lakhs (ex-showroom), it might prove to be an affordable alternative to the Triumph Street Triple RS.
