An array of launches is what makes a week exciting and the last week had it in abundance! From Revolt electric bikes to MV Agusta’s touring model, every day had something special for us in the store. So, with no further ado, let’s take a quick look at the stories which created most buzz in the two-wheeler industry last week.

Revolt RV400 and RV300 electric bikes launched

Revolt Motors made its debut in the Indian market by launching the RV400 and the RV300 electric motorcycles in the country. Touted as country’s first AI-enabled motorcycles, these bikes come equipped with modern features to the brim. With a sporty styling, lithium-ion battery and a potent motor with three riding modes, Revolt bikes seem future-ready. On top of that, the electric bike manufacturer has made owning its products a seamless affair by introducing a unique ‘My Revolt Plan’ ownership subscription scheme. MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 launched

Motoroyale has launched the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 in India, which is the only touring model in the Italian bikemaker’s portfolio. Although it comes with a premium price tag of Rs 18.99 lakhs, the company has announced a special pricing of Rs 16.99 lakhs for the first three customers in India. Similar to the rest of MV Agusta offerings, the Turismo Veloce is also a stunning motorcycle. It is propelled by a 798cc, in-line triple cylinder motor which makes 110bhp and 83Nm while the presence of host of electronic aids keeps all of that power in check. 

Harley-Davidson LiveWire unveiled

After launching the LiveWire in the international markets, Harley-Davidson has finally unveiled its first electric motorcycle in India. Belting out 103.5bhp and 116Nm (from zero rpm) from its ‘Revolution’ motor, the LiveWire is the most powerful Harley ever. It is also claimed to deliver a decent range of 142kms from a 15.5kW battery pack. Adorning a futuristic design, the LiveWire comes loaded with features such as six-axis IMU, traction control, DSCS (Drag Torque Slip Control) system and a 4.3-inch TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation. The American bikemaker is likely to launch the LiveWire by the end of this year in India. 

Harley-Davidson Street 750 10th Anniversary launched

To commemorate its 10th anniversary in India, Harley-Davidson launched a special edition version of its entry-level offering, the Street 750. Priced at Rs 5.47 lakhs, it will be limited to 300 units only. While remaining unchanged under the skin, this version sports a special paint scheme that is inspired by the Indian culture. Bookings for the motorcycle have begun in all dealerships and deliveries will commence in the next few weeks. 

Hero Electric Dash launched

Hero Electric has widened its portfolio in India as it launched its new e-scooter, the Dash. With compact styling and modern features, the scooter rides on a 250W BDLC motor which is powered by a 48V 28Ah Li-Ion battery. Rated to deliver a range of 60km, this battery is claimed to get fully-charged in four hours. It boasts of a 77kg of dry weight and the top speed is limited to 25kmph. In terms of pricing, Hero Electric has pegged the Dash at Rs 62,000 and it is available at all dealerships across India.
