The last week was eventful in terms of new product launches as there were a host of new two-wheelers gracing our shores. Subsequently, there were other developments taking place which should excite the Indian motorcycling enthusiasts. In that case, here’s a roundup of five such important bike updates from the last week.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 cross-spoke tubeless wheels
Royal Enfield finally launched the tubeless spoke wheels for the Himalayan 450 with a price tag of Rs. 11,000 a pair. These tubeless spoke wheels are available in Royal Enfield’s MIY accessory catalogue. However, existing Himalayan 450 owners will have to pay Rs. 12,424 for the said tubeless spoke wheels and it will be available at the dealerships from 3 October.
2024 Yamaha RayZR launch
The 2024 Yamaha RayZR Street Rally was launched at Rs 98,130. The new model gets an LED DRL to enhance its appearance. It also acts as a safety feature by improving the visibility of the scooter to help other road users spot it. The other feature is the answer back function. It essentially allows the rider to spot the scooter in a crowded parking lot by flashing its turn indicators and sounding a beep.
TVS Raider 125 drum brake variant launch
TVS has silently launched the most affordable variant of the Raider 125. The bike is now offered in a drum brake setup, at both ends and it sits under the single-disc trim. The asking price for the Raider 125 Drum is set at Rs. 84,469. TVS offers the Raider 125 Drum in two paint schemes - Striking Red and Wicked Black.
Yamaha XSR 155 India launch imminent
Yamaha India has released a social media post which shows a bunch of products that are expected to arrive on our shores. Interestingly, the profoundly popular XSR 155 is also a part of this video which might be a hint of its imminent India arrival. Although it never went on sale in India, the Yamaha XSR 155 has been one of the most talked-about small bikes in our country. It was expected to land on the Indian shores much earlier, when Yamaha launched the India-specific FZ X.
2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 X launch soon
Triumph Motorcycles recently launched the MY2025 Speed 400 in India. And everyone has been asking when Triumph will offer similar updates to the Scrambler 400. Well, our sources tell us that the 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 X is expected to be launched in a couple of months. The updated Scrambler 400 X is ready for launch, but Bajaj-Triumph wants to focus on the new Speed 400 and the new Speed T4.
