Now that we have entered into the festive season and the buying sentiment of the customers is at its peak, the two-wheeler manufacturers are utilising this period to its fullest. New colour options, discounts and offers are being introduced almost every single day and the last week was all about that. To give you a recap, here’s a round-up of the top five bike updates from the last week.
TVS Ntorq 125 Avengers edition launched
The TVS Ntorq 125 has been introduced in three new colours with graphics inspired by characters from Marvel’s Avengers. The paint schemes include Stealth Black, Invincible Red and Combat Blue with decals depicting Black Panther, Iron Man and Captain America, respectively. Priced at Rs 77,865, the new Avenger’s edition is the most expensive variant of the Ntorq 125. Notably, it remains the same as the Race edition in all other areas.
Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent launched
India’s best-selling motorcycle, the Hero Splendor Plus, has received a new Black and Accent colour scheme. While a majority of body panels and cycle parts are finished in black shade, there are different set of graphics called the Beetle Red, Bumble Bee Yellow and Firefly Golden. Interestingly, buyers can also customise the graphics as per their preference. It has been priced at Rs 64,470 and the customisation kit costs Rs 1,399.
Hero Electric Nyx-HX scooter launched
We also witnessed a new entrant, the Hero Electric Nyx-HX, in the electric scooter genre in India. It is basically targeted at B2B customers who need it for last-mile deliveries and other commercial uses. The most notable aspect about the Nyx-HX is its claimed battery range which is as much as 210kms. Basically, it comes with a modular battery system which allows range extension and battery swapping. Hero Electric has pegged the e-scooter at Rs 64,460.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 launched
Royal Enfield has finally revealed the launch date of its much-anticipated offering, the Meteor 350. Essentially the successor to the Thunderbird 350X, the Meteor will debut on 6 November, 2020 in India. The motorcycle has been spied multiple times and a lot about it has been revealed till date. It will be based on a new double cradle frame while the J architecture engine will also be all-new. Moreover, the motorcycle will be more advanced in terms of features as compared to the existing RE offerings.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V new prices and offers
If you’re planning to buy the Apache RTR 200 4V now, you’ll have to shell out more as TVS has increased its prices by Rs 1,500. The dual-channel ABS trim of the bike costs Rs 1,30,050 while the cheaper single ABS model is pegged at Rs 1,25,500. On the flip side, the Hosur-based bike maker also rolled out a few festive offers for the bike to make the buying and ownership experience easier for the buyers. These include low down payment, easy finance schemes and other savings.
