The last week brought along a slew of interesting two-wheeler launches, varying from a small-size neo-retro offering to a full-size adventure tourer. Moreover, we also came across spy shots of upcoming iterations of two popular motorcycles. In case you couldn’t keep a track of these updates last week, here’s a quick round-up.
Keeway India launched its small-size neo-classic motorcycle, the SR125. This is the brand’s seventh product in India which is available in three colours – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Red. All colour variants are available at the same price tag of Rs 1.19 lakh. This retro-classic offering runs on a 125cc single-cylinder engine with EFI that makes 9.5bhp and 8.2Nm of peak torque.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak launch
Ducati India brought in the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak into our market at a price tag of Rs 31.48 lakh. This is the sportiest iteration of the Multistrada V4 range and it gets several upgrades like jazzier styling, more premium hardware and higher-end electronics over the standard motorcycle. Moto Morini Seiemmezzo and X-Cape 650 launch
Moto Morini has officially entered the Indian market with three offerings – X-Cape 650, Seiemmezzo Retro Street and Seiemmezzo Scrambler. The prices of these bikes start from Rs 6.89 lakh and go up to Rs 7.40 lakh. While the X-Cape is an adventure motorcycle available in two slightly different trims, the Seiemmezzo siblings are roadsters with mild distinctions suiting their names. We have also ridden the bikes for a short duration and you can read our first impressions in the review section.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 spied
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 was spotted testing in India once again. It was undergoing road test sans camouflage and looked ready for production. While the engine is likely to be the same as the Interceptor 650, the design and hardware will be majorly different along with more features. Moreover, the ergonomics will also be profoundly more relaxed. As for its launch, an official announcement might take place before the end of this year.
Hero MotoCorp is working on an updated iteration of the Xtreme 160R and two of the test mules of this model were spied testing. The bikes were camouflaged but the design was clearly the same as the existing model. Aesthetically, we expect it to get refreshed graphics. Mechanically, everything on the test bikes looked unchanged but the Xtreme is likely to get internal changes in its engine, perhaps a departure from two-valve setup to a four-valve head.
