The Indian two-wheeler market witnessed a bunch of new launches last week. We also came across spy shots of an interesting small-size scrambler which is expected to be launched soon. If you are unaware of these updates, here’s a more detailed round-up of the top five bike stories from last week.
Suzuki introduced a new paint scheme for the Access 125’s Ride Connect and Special Edition models. The new shade is called Solid Ice Green and Pearl Mirage White and costs the same as other colour options. The Ride Connect Edition drum brake edition is priced at Rs 85,200 while the disc brake version is available at Rs 87,200. Meanwhile, the Special edition is priced at Rs 83,000.
Zontes launches five motorcycles
China-based Zontes has started its Indian innings by launching five motorcycles in India. From an ADV to a naked bike, the brand’s portfolio comprises a variety of offerings. These include the 350T, 350T ADV, 350X, GK350, and the 350R which are priced from Rs 3.15 lakh to Rs 3.37 lakh. Depending on their body style, the Zontes offerings compete against the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, and BMW G 310 R.
2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S new colour
Ducati India has launched the 2022 Multistrada V4S in the new Iceberg White colour option. It costs Rs 2.27 lakh which is Rs 1.5 lakh more than other paint schemes of the S variant. This version of the bike also gets other updates like minimum preload setup and changes in the infotainment system. Moreover, the accessory catalogue gets two new elements - lowered suspension kit and aluminium bags.
Hero Vida V1 e-scooter launched
Hero MotoCorp finally entered the Indian EV territory with the launch of the Vida V1 electric scooter. The V1 will be available in two variants – Plus and Pro with prices of Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.59 lakh, respectively. The e-scooter packs a bunch of noteworthy traits, the most noticeable being its maximum battery range (claimed) of 165km. Click on the story link to read all about the Hero Vida V1.
Keeway seems to be prepping to expand its India line-up with the launch of the SR125 scrambler. The motorcycle was recently spotted at a dealership hinting at its imminent launch. Although it’s a compact motorcycle, it sports a lot of elements which exude a scrambler vibe. Powering the bike is a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine and the cycle parts are quite basic. The price of the bike and other details will only be known after it’s officially launched.
