The last week couldn’t have gotten any more exciting with as many as four major launches taking place. What’s more, we also broke big news about Royal Enfield’s future plans related to its upcoming 350cc offerings. If you were too busy to keep a track of all of it, here’s a quick lowdown to make your Sunday more interesting.
Suzuki entered the 125cc sporty scooter space with the launch of the Avenis 125. It’s targeted at young buyers with an aggressive design and a bunch of modern features like a Bluetooth-enabled display. The engine, meanwhile, is the same 125cc unit that’s present in the Burgman Street 125 and the Access 125. The prices of the Avenis’ standard and MotoGP edition are Rs 86,700 and Rs 87,600, respectively.
2021 Aprilia SR 160 and SR 125 launched
Aprilia has updated its portfolio by launching the facelifted versions of its sport scooters, the SR 160 and the SR 125. Both offerings get a redesigned front fascia, new high-lumen LED headlight and DRLs, a different seat, and a larger grab rail. There’s a new fully-digital LCD dash as well. The prices of both scooters have received a hike of around Rs 10,000. While the prices of the new SR 160 start at Rs 1.17 lakh, the SR 125 starts at Rs 1.07 lakh.
Yamaha introduced the new S variant of the YZF R15 V3.0 in India. While it’s the same bike as the standard V3, the only difference is the presence of a single-piece seat. It is available in a single paint scheme – Racing Blue. The price of the YZF R15S V3.0 stands at Rs 1,57,600 which makes it the most affordable product in the R15 line-up.
Honda Grazia 125 Repsol Edition launched
The Honda Grazia 125 is now available in a new Repsol Honda Team Edition that has been pegged at Rs 87,138. It features Honda’s racing team-inspired graphics on the front apron and side panels. This edition further benefits from vibrant orange wheel rims. Meanwhile, the Repsol edition remains the same as the standard model on the mechanical front.
Royal Enfield to launch four new 350cc models
In our exclusive report, we told you that Royal Enfield is working on four new 350cc motorcycles which will be launched over the period of two years. One of these is the updated version of the brand’s oldest model, the Bullet 350. There will also be a bobber-styled motorcycle which will mostly take on the Jawa Perak.
