Triumph Daytona 660 reaches dealerships
The Triumph Daytona 660 began arriving at dealerships across India. This signals the imminent launch of the 660cc supersport which has been delayed for some time. The bike was supposed to go on sale around April-May but we are well past mid-June. Word is that Triumph India will launch the bike around the end of June or early July.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR reached dealerships
Kawasaki India recently launched the most expensive 400cc motorcycle in India, the Ninja ZX-4RR. It is priced at an eye-watering Rs. 9.10 lakh, and has now started arriving at select dealerships across India. However, the stock is likely limited to about 25 units across India. The Ninja ZX-4RR sits above the standard, Ninja ZX-4R which is priced at Rs. 8.49 lakh.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 chassis failure
Two incidents of the Himalayan’s chassis failure recently took the internet by storm, making the reliability of the adventure motorcycle questionable. However, Royal Enfield got in touch with us and explained the reasons behind these frame failures. The next-generation KTM 390 Adventure seems to be nearing its global debut as a production-ready test mule was spotted testing in India last week. The current-gen 390 Adventure has started to get a bit long in the tooth since it was launched in 2019, and this is the right time for KTM to introduce the 2025 model. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure will abandon its road-going personality for an off-road-centric makeover along with adopting the new 399cc, liquid-cooled, LC4c engine that made its debut on the 2024 KTM 390 Duke.
Royal Enfield Himalayan goes rallying
Royal Enfield has made its off-road racing debut with the Himalayan 450. The company participated in Swank Rally De Sardegna in Italy. From the pictures, it is clear that a lot of cycle parts have been removed to save weight. The biggest weight drop has come from replacing the headlamp with a rally-style light. However, the windscreens are a bit bigger. It was also equipped with aftermarket accessories like the radiator guard, rally seat and also the rear cover.
