The Indian two-wheeler market witnessed a bunch of new entrants last week which included ICE as well as electrically-powered ones. And in what came across as surprising news, one of the full-size adventure motorcycles received a massive price cut. While we covered everything in detail last week, here’s a quick round-up for the busy-bees who couldn’t keep a track of all of it.
TVS Apache RTR 160, RTR 180 launched
It seems like the popularity of TVS’ long-running Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 180 hasn’t fizzled out. The Hosur-based brand launched the updated versions of the motorcycles with some aesthetic updates and additional features like Bluetooth connectivity. While the new Apache RTR 160 is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh, the Apache RTR 180 costs Rs 1.31 lakh.
Hop OXO electric motorcycle launched
The list of electric motorcycles available in India has recently grown with the introduction of the Hop OXO. The e-motorcycle is sold in two variants – standard and X with prices starting from Rs 1.25 lakh. Both variants are pretty loaded with features like a five-inch display, multiple riding modes, and a host of security features. Meanwhile, the battery range and top speed are rated at 150km and 90kmph, respectively.
2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launched
Kawasaki updated the colour palette of the Ninja ZX-10R sportbike as a part of its model year update in India. The 2023 iteration of the litre-class track tool will be available in a single variant and two colours – Lime Green and Pearl Robotic White. Both paint options are available with the same price tag of Rs 15.99 lakh.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally edition bookings
After the first slot of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally edition was sold out a few weeks back, the company reopened bookings of the motorcycle once again. It demands a premium of Rs 16,000 over the standard trim due to the additional off-road-focussed components it comes equipped with. The first batch of the bike comprised 100 units and the second slot is likely to have an equal number of motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 price cut
Harley-Davidson India has announced a price cut of as much as Rs 4 lakh on its adventure motorcycle, the Pan America 1250. The standard trim of the bike now retails at Rs 12.91 lakh instead of Rs 16.90 lakh and the Pan America 1250 Special is priced at Rs 17.11 lakh against the previous tag of Rs 21.11 lakh. Notably, the offer is applicable to the 2021 edition which is available in limited numbers.
