The last week not only brought a few pleasant updates of new launches but also a major recall announcement for Royal Enfield Classic 350 owners in India. TVS Apache RTR 165 RP launched
TVS has introduced a new series called the Race Performance and its first offering is the new Apache RTR 165 RP. It is priced exorbitantly at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be limited to just 200 units. Kawasaki brought in a new colour option for its middle-weight street bike, the Z900. The new paint scheme is called ‘Candy Lime Green Type 3’ and it will join the existing Metallic Spark Black trim. The prices of the bike will also increase from 1 January 2022 but it will be a meagre hike of Rs 8,000. At present, the Z900 is pegged at Rs 8.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph special edition models
Triumph launched the entire Gold Line Edition in India with a range comprising five motorcycles- Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Bonneville Speedmaster, Bonneville Bobber as well as the Street Scrambler. Furthermore, the British brand also gave something special to the Rocket 3 and Street Twin buyers in the form of 221 and EC1 special edition models, respectively.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 recalled
Royal Enfield has recalled the new Classic 350 over a potential issue with the brake reaction bracket attached to the motorcycle swingarm. The issue is said to exist in select units of single-channel ABS and rear drum brake variants of the Classic that were manufactured between 1 September, 2021 and 5 December, 2021. The company officials will soon start reaching out to the owners of the affected units.
