The last week witnessed a lot of action in the two-wheeler market, domestic and international both. From the Yamaha Aerox 155 receiving a new colour option to Ducati unveiling its newest Desert X, there were a bunch of interesting bike updates. And just like every Sunday, we list the top five of them here.
Owing to the positive response received for the new Aerox 155, Yamaha widened its colour palette by introducing a new Metallic Black colour option. The Aerox 155 is now available in a total of colour options, the other three being Racing Blue, Grey Vermillon, and MotoGP Monster Energy edition. The prices of the scooter start at Rs 1.29 lakh.
Honda H’ness CB350 Anniversary edition
It’s been a year that Honda had launched the H’ness CB350 in India. To commemorate the occasion, the company has launched the new Anniversary edition of the motorcycle in India. It will be available in two colour options - Pearl Igneous Black and Matte Marshal Green Metallic with a few additional cosmetic touches to set it apart from the standard model. To be available in limited numbers, it is priced at Rs 2.03 lakh.
Honda Activa 125 Premium edition
Honda also updated its scooter portfolio with the launch of the Activa 125 Premium edition in India. Priced at Rs 78,725 (drum brake) and Rs 82,280 (disc brake), the Premium edition is around Rs 2,000 more expensive than its corresponding standard trims. Besides different paint schemes, the minor cosmetic changes include a black engine, black telescopic forks, body-coloured grab rail, and new decals.
Benelli TRK 251 pre-bookings open
Benelli India has commenced the pre-bookings for the TRK 251. The motorcycle will be the entry-level adventure tourer in the company’s India portfolio. Interested buyers can reserve a unit of the bike via Benelli’s website for a token amount of Rs 6,000. The quarter-litre adventure bike will go up against the likes of KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, and the Hero XPulse 200 4V in the Indian market.
Ducati has finally pulled the wraps off their most anticipated motorcycle – the Desert X. This adventure tourer has taken inspiration from Ducati’s Paris-Dakar days. The Desert X will sit below the brand’s Multistrada range, but will be a proper enduro instead of an adventure sports. The company says that the brand has worked on a lot of aspects to make the Desert X friendly on the road as well as off the road.
