Yamaha FZ S FI Vintage edition launch
Yamaha rode in the Vintage edition of its popular street bike, the FZ S FI. As the name suggests, it packs a few elements which try to take you back in time such as the Vintage green paint scheme, chequered flag-like graphics and tan brown leather seat. What else helps the Vintage edition distinguish from the standard trim is the presence of Bluetooth connectivity feature, which was first introduced in the Dark Knight version of the bike. The former demands a price premium of Rs 2,000 over the latter.
The scalpel-sharp styling of modern day KTMs like the 390 Duke doesn’t fail to woo us every time we look at it. Interestingly, the same aesthetics are going to be passed on to the smallest KTM, the 125 Duke. Our sources have revealed that the 2021 edition of the 125 Duke is on its way to be launched in the Indian market with a styling identical to its elder siblings. This will also bring along a price hike of around Rs 6,000-7,000.
Indian Kawasaki Motors intends to end 2020 with a bang by offering its customers discounts of up to Rs 50,000. The offer will be valid till 31 December and there is a limited stock available. Motorcycles which are a part of this bonanza include the W800, Vulcan S, Z650, Versys 650 and the competition bikes including KLX 110, KLX 140 and KX 100. The discounts are available in the form of vouchers which can either be availed as cash concession or accessories.
Ducati took the wraps off the new 2021 edition of its iconic machine, the Monster 821. Besides the plethora of changes it has received, the ‘821’ suffix has been banished and it’s called only the Monster. The middle-weight streetfighter gets a new styling which is sharper while the old trellis frame has also been replaced by an aluminum frame. The result is 4.5kg lighter kerb weight over its predecessor. Moreover, it also runs on a larger 937cc, Testastretta engine which makes more power and torque than before. What’s more, the electronics and hardware package have also been improved.
