The last week brought along a variety of new product launches along with a spy shot that created a lot of buzz in the Indian two-wheeler industry. And just like every Sunday, we are back with our weekly roundup of the top five bike updates.
Yamaha introduced a pair of new colours of the FZ X in India. Christened the Chrome and Metallic Black, these trims are priced at Rs. 1,39,700 and Rs. 1,36,200, respectively. As a result, the FZ X is now available in a choice of five colour options, the other three being Matte Copper, Dark Matte Blue, and Matte Titan.
The iconic Luna brand has made a comeback but this time in an electric avatar. Kinetic Green has launched the Luna electric two-wheeler in India at Rs 69,990. Just like the OG Luna of yesteryears, this is a no-nonsense, minimalistic and utilitarian offering. It is built around a steel frame that holds a 2kWh battery and is powered by a 1.2kW motor. The top speed and riding range stand at 50kmph and 100km, respectively.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150, N160 launched
Bajaj launched the 2024 Pulsar N150 and N160 in India after unveiling them a while back. These are priced at Rs. 1.24 lakh and Rs. 1.33 lakh, respectively, and both get the new all-digital LCD with Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, the N160 now gets dual-channel ABS as standard. Mechanically, both these Pulsars remain the same as before.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure spied testing
KTM's next-generation 390 Adventure was spied testing in India for the second time. For 2025, the new KTM 390 Adventure will ditch its road-focused persona in favour of a more off-road-centric makeover. The ADV was seen in near-production form, and the 2025 model will flaunt a Dakar-inspired rally look that will include a beak-style fender, large fairing, and a lean tail section. Honda NX500 deliveries commence
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recently commenced the deliveries for its latest offering, the NX500. The Japanese tourer was launched recently and its asking price is set at Rs. 5.90 lakh. Honda offers the NX500 in three paint schemes – Grand Prix Red, Pearl Horizon White, and Gunpowder Black. It is the successor to the previously sold CB500X. Powering the bike is a 471cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 47bhp at 8,600rpm and 43Nm at 6,500rpm.
