The last week was all about new product launches in a variety of segments. Making the week particularly interesting was the launch of the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R which is now priced at Rs. 10,000 less! Here’s a round-up of more such noteworthy bike updates from the last week.
Hero Xtreme 160R launch
Hero Motocorp launched the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V in India at Rs. 1.11 lakh, which makes it about Rs. 10,000 more affordable than before. This could be done to bump up sales since the festive season is around the corner. The bike is based on the existing Xtreme 160R platform but gets the two-valve setup. Other minor tweaks include a revised H-shaped tail light, a flatter pillion seat, and a drag race timer, along with the price cut.
Yamaha R15 Carbon Fibre Edition
The Yamaha R15M was launched in a new Carbon Fibre Pattern at Rs 2.08 lakh. The colourway is inspired by the full carbon fibre R1M. Both the R15M in the carbon fibre pattern and the R1M were showcased earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The carbon fibre pattern has been done using water dipping techniques and the company claims an exceptional finish that resembles actual carbon fibre panels.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 new colour
Royal Enfield expanded the Bullet 350 line-up by introducing a new Battalion Black colour scheme. It is priced at Rs 1.75 lakh, which is Rs 1000 more than the Military Black. With this new colour addition, the Bullet 350 is being sold in a total of five black shades. Interestingly, there’s no difference between this newly introduced Black shade and the Military Black.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 bookings

New 400cc Triumph bike launch
Triumph India is planning to launch a new motorcycle on 17 September, and according to the teaser picture, it could be a more affordable variant of the Speed 400. From the picture sent to us, it is clear that the bike will get a different seat than the one on the Speed 400. In fact, this one looks like a flat seat but with some custom stitching on it. The bike also has a new red and white paint scheme. The black panel below the fuel tank has been replaced with a grey one. For now, these are the only changes that can be seen from the teaser picture.
