Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer, Zontes has entered the Indian market with five motorcycles. One of these is the 350R which is a direct rival to the popular KTM 390 Duke. We rode this motorcycle some time back for a short duration and you can read our first impressions here. In this post, we bring you some of the most attention-worthy pictures of the 350R from our review.
The design of the 350R is one of its main highlights as it really looks the part. The overall bodywork is extremely busy with a lot of cuts and creases around the fuel tank area, a robotic headlamp, and a skyward-pointing tail.
Contrary to its aggressive design, the riding position it offers is pretty upright and neutral. The rider needs to bend just a wee bit to reach the pulled-back handlebar and the feet are placed comfortably on the centre-set footpegs.
The list of features is as fancy as its styling. The motorcycle incorporates full-LED lighting, a colour LCD console, keyless control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The hardware is also impressive with 43mm upside-down forks, a monoshock, a single disc at both ends, and a reasonably large 15-litre fuel tank.
Powering the Zontes 350R is a 348cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 38bhp and 32Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox.
Zontes has launched the motorcycle in three colour options including black, blue and silver. It’s priced at Rs 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up against the KTM 390 Duke and BMW
