Zontes India recently launched the 350T in India. It’s priced at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and is one of the two ADV offerings from the entrant. That said, there are a few other options that you could choose from instead of the Zontes 350T for a similar asking price. Let’s take a look at the options.
Keeway K-Light 250V
The Keeway K-Light 250V is priced at Rs 3.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and is the most affordable V-twin cruiser on sale. It’s powered by a 249cc air-cooled V-twin engine mated to a five-speed gearbox and belts out 18.5bhp and 19Nm. The K-Light 250V gets LED illumination and a fully digital console. Its braking hardware comprises a single front and rear disc while the suspension setup consists of USD front forks and dual rear shocks.
BMW G 310 GS
At Rs 3.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the BMW G 310 GS is also a commendable option. With its tall stance, upright riding triangle and ADV build, the G 310 GS makes for a decent tourer and is also good for mild off-roading. It houses a 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox and develops 33.52 bhp and 28 Nm. The G 310 GS features LED illumination, a fully digital instrument console, and dual-channel ABS. The Bavarian ADV rides on USD front forks and a monoshock setup with a single front and rear disc brake.
KTM RC 390
The KTM RC 390 could also be an option instead of the Zontes 350T since it costs Rs 3.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). KTM recently launched the RC 390 in its latest iteration with a major update. It now packs more features including full LED illumination, a TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, traction control, and more. The RC is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor churning 42.9 bhp and 37 Nm. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox and is nestled in a trellis frame with a removable rear subframe. KTM has equipped the RC 390 with USD front forks and a monoshock.
KTM 390 Adventure
If you prefer an ADV only, then the KTM 390 Adventure too is a part of the list. It costs Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and packs the same motor and features as the RC 390. Moreover, the 390 Adventure has been a preferred choice for long-distance touring and off-roading as well. It offers a comfortable rider triangle, with a sturdy build and tall stance, making the overall package quite rider-friendly.
Kawasaki Ninja 300
Lastly, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 too can be considered an alternative to the Zontes 350T. It retails at Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and has been around for a long time. The Japanese supersport packs a 299cc parallel-twin engine with the output rated at 38.88bhp and 26.1Nm. While the Ninja 300 only gets a handful of features, its trusty build and reliable engine make it a decent choice for an upgrade. Kawasaki has equipped the Ninja 300 with conventional front forks and monoshock along with single disc brakes at both ends.
