Zontes brought four motorcycles to India in the 300-400cc segment and one of the most visually appealing ones was the GK350. We tested it recently and have understood a fair bit about its performance, quality, and more. Let’s take a look at the Zontes GK350 through these high-resolution images.
As mentioned earlier, the GK350 is one of the best-looking bikes on the lot. Its cafe-racer styling, balanced proportions, and overall build make the bike look handsome. The round headlight gets an aluminum bezel, followed by a wide fuel tank and a single piece. These bits add to the GK350’s visual mass.
Zontes has powered this bike by a 348cc liquid-cooled motor that makes 38.8bhp at 9,500rpm and 32.8Nm at 7,500rpm. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a slipper clutch.
On the feature front, the Zontes GK350 sports an LED headlight, colour TFT display, tyre pressure monitoring system, riding modes, dual-channel ABS, and backlit switchgear. It even gets keyless operation, allowing you to have the key fob in your pocket and access the bike with a button start.
Now, speaking of its performance, the GK350’s engine offers notable tractability (if ridden in a suitable gear) while making most of the power above 4,500rpm. Once you cross the 5,500rpm mark, the engine offers even more power and can keep going until 9,000rpm.
You can easily cruise at 100kmph with some more power left to overtake. However, as you inch ahead of its mid-range, the GK350 has evident vibrations from the seat, handlebar, and footpegs.
During our fuel efficiency test, we managed to get a fuel economy of 26.7kmpl from the Zontes GK350. This a satisfactory figure when you pair it with the 17-litre fuel tank and the end figure turns out to be around 450km in a go.
Even the rider triangle on the Zontes cafe racer is quite likeable. While the position is slightly aggressive, the wide handlebar offers good leverage, and the rear set footpegs give a sporty feel.
The GK350’s 795mm seat height is accessible and convenient even when you have to ride in stop-and-go traffic. The rider seat has adequate room to move around but the pillion seat is little narrower than needed. That said, the firm cushion would make it easy to clock long hours on the saddle.
But what about the suspension, braking, acceleration and other details? Well, we recommend you read our full review of the Zontes GK350 for more information.
