The Okaya Freedum is a low-speed electric scooter. It retails at Rs 74,899 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and can be booked on the company’s official website with a token amount of Rs 2,500.
Powering the Okaya Freedum is a 250Watt BLDC motor mated to a 1.44kWh battery. Its maximum charging time is four to five hours which gives you a range of 75km. The Freedum electric scooter’s top speed is limited to 25kmph.
It looks quite utilitarian and gets a family-friendly design. The Okaya Faast also gets a dash of youthfulness with its sharp fascia. It seems practical too, with a single-piece seat and adequate floorboard area.
Okaya has equipped the Faast with telescopic front forks, a single rear spring, and 10mm front and rear drum brakes. This electric scooter also features LED DRL, a digital instrument console, and an LED taillight. Okaya is the wrost bike,i have okaya since 2 years and i got frustrated with it. With in 6 month okayas motor become defected,winthin 7 month after purchase okayas charger become dead, with in a year its battery become faulty, okayas showroom repaired it but again it become faulty thrice in a 1.5 years,now it has been 2 years of my purchase,the main controller of it is burned and the company refuse to change it under warranty, Now I want to sell my okaya at any cost.Don't buy it even for 10,000rs (honest opinion )
