In a recent update, Ola re-launched the S1 Air with three different battery options. So, it’s now available with a 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery. The asking price is set at Rs 84,999, Rs 99,999, and Rs 1,09,999 (all three ex-showroom Bengaluru), respectively.
The Ola S1 Air looks identical to the remaining two variants. It features the same twin projector headlamp, curvy body panels, a single-piece seat, and mirrors. But unlike the other models, the Air gets a flat footboard which can add to the usability as it provides a little extra storage space.
Ola has equipped the S1 Air with a hub-mounted motor with a peak power of 4.5kW. Ola claims the S1 Air’s top speed is 95kmph, while the range is rated at 85km for the 2kWh, 125km for the 3kWh, and 165km for the 4kWh battery.
It gets features like a TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, riding modes, reverse mode, side stand alert, OTA updates, music playback, remote boot lock/unlock, navigation, and predictive maintenance.
The S1 Air rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. Its braking hardware comprises a front and rear drum brake mounted on 90/90-12 wheels. The S1 Air weighs 99kg and gets 34 litres of under-seat storage space.
Ola offers the S1 Air in five colours – Porcelain White, Neo Mint, Coral Glam, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver. It rivals the Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and other electric two-wheelers in the segment.

Regret after getting it

Never buy this bike we are regretting after getting it because it has 100 problems in it. The main problem is there don't have enough service stations due to which customers are suffering a lot. We got this bike after 1 month from the service station for a very small defect. Hands my father had to travel by external transport daily to the office.

We all know enough about the OLA experience. But today, let me tell you my personal experience with this vehicle. We have bought this vehicle exactly one year ago. Some of the common issues were :1. It switched to parking mode while running.2. The screen didn't respond when it rained.3. Everything except the accelerator and brakes were unresponsive at times and I had to stop the scooter and reboot it 2-3 times. The FUNNIEST PART is - the major issue came up exactly on the 1st anniversary of our scooter. The battery has degraded in just one year. (Please note that we handled the scooter very gently and took good care.)The issue is: that the last 10% of battery (90% - 100%) was as if it didn’t exist at all. 1. After a full charge, the battery would drop by 2-3% even without the scooter being used.2. Normally, I have observed that for every 1.5 kms traveled in normal mode, 2% of the battery would be consumed. (before the issue came up) But when you ride when the battery is in the last 10 percent (90-100%) the battery percentage drops really quickly. It is dropping by 3-4 % for just 1km travelled.HONEST OPINION - OLA scooters are not a good choice for long-term vehicle owners.

Worst service and build quality

Worst service center experience ever. problems occur every 2 months and have to get it serviced.Build quality isn't good, I am facing issues everywhere and the warranty doesn't cover anything, even having to play for buttons is some next-level way to earn more from the company. the people at Ola when we were buying also told lies. One was when the scooty was in the warranty period it didn't charge anything except labor cost and we were like okay, then I went today they said that the offer had expired like 2 weeks ago. I bought my scooty 2 months ago

A plastic box with pathetic software & service.

We as a group have purchased 6 Ola bikes (2 S1 Air, 4 Ola pros) almost a year back. Every one of us faced issues with their respective Ola vehicles. I have purchased an Ola S1 Air.Pros - The pickup & ride comfort are goodCons - service, software issuesA few of the issues faced by us 1) we need to restart the bike at least every 2 days. Now it needs to restart every 12 hrs2) Ola claims a mileage of 150km for S1 air. But when u are riding in the city you get a mileage ranging from 65 to a max of 80km (depending on mode, single/double riding). I get 80 km when I drive single & in eco mode. My friends get a mileage of around 110 for an S1 Pro.3) A couple of us are unable to connect the bike to the app which is not resolved to date.4) Touch becomes an issue & doesn't respond when the screen is overheated during summers & when it gets completely wet. ( Had to wait for 20 mins every time it gets wet to start the bike as it's not connected appa as well).5) The worst part is their service. They don't even fit the vehicle properly & new problems are arising after service is done.

OLA S1 Air

I bought the OLA S1 Air on my birthday. For the last 7 months, I have been using this EV. There are no major complaints about the bike. Performance is just outstanding. Pick and Speed are superb. The only issue is the range. It shows 125KM on Echo mode but it's not giving the same range even after Full Charge. They need to work on this. Otherwise, it's a superb bike.

1. Buying experience was good which is obvious since everything is good when it's new and fresh.2. Regeneration breaking is great. It feels very bumpy on even smaller road mismatches. Shock absorption is almost absent. The turning radius is a little higher, which makes it uncomfortable to take a U-turn. All fiber body starts to rattle after 4-5 months. Number plate rivets also loosen within a year. The footrest doesn't remain in close condition after 4-5 months. The notch given on it for retention wears out fast. The headlight remains on even after the scooter is parked and the stand is lowered. The seat is too broad. A person with a height below 175 cm, needs to sit right on the front edge, to be able to stop at signals by balancing with foot on the ground.3. Looks are not too great. Indicators look good although. Runs 100 km/charging 4. Even after purchasing OLA care, there's no assurance that you will get on-the-spot service. The worst part is their service slots are always full. I could never book a service request through the app even after trying regularly. This is serious as one can suffer badly if his scooter is in not running condition and badly needs the service.5. Pros- Regeneration braking, Cons- Very very poor service. Poor performance due to shock absorbers, seat, and brakes.
