  • Over all good vehicle.

    H Haribabu

    1. Buying experience: they really made us wait for a very long period, took 2 months more than the promised delivery date.
    2. Riding: it is just amazing and the top speed on paper is 115 km/h but in real in turbo mode, it gives a top speed of 70km/h and the charging time is not so much because when we see the range after 100% charging the vehicle it gives a range of 135 kms. The charging time is 7 to 7.30 hours.
    3. Looks and performance: amazing looks and superb performance.
    4. Pro: ride quality and eco friendly, pick up too good, comfortable for 2 people, has a large boot space, built quality is very good.
    5. Con:
    A) the functional buttons are very difficult to operate.(horn, turn indicator etc)
    B) manual key lock is necessary
    C) back number plate often hits the leg
    D) side stand quality could have been better.
    E) horn sound is very inadequate.
    F) in real-life conditions it gives only 100 to 130 kms for one full charge(s1 pro)
    F) fast-charging stations and not available
    G) you cannot hold the brakes and accelerate the bike.
    H) misses out on flat floorboard
    I) unimpressive plastic quality
    J) there is a scraping sound when above 35km/hr also there is a vibration that you can feel on the foot if you wear chappals.

This is so good every day I ride an average of 60km without much body ache. Earlier I was using the motorbike. I get severe back pain at the end of the day. I was not able to do any work after I reach home. But now I don't have that problem. I recommend this bike to buy. Extremely good performer. Thanks to OLA company.

    Arun Sharma

    1. Buying experience was average due to high waiting. After the down payment, they took 45 days to cover all the formalities and then delivered it to my home.
    2. Riding experience is like a 160cc bike. Hyper mode is really aggressive. Both disc brakes and MRF tyres are really impressive in terms of performance. Music is another advantage of party mode.
    3. Looks are really good from the front, but the rear look seems rounded. It has good aerodynamics also. This allows to reach 116-117 in just 7-8 seconds. 36 l boot space is really helpful. 125 kms in normal mode is fine for daily commuters.
    4. Service and maintenance seem to be very less due to no engine. Disc pads would surely cost you 500 after every 7-8 months.
    5. Pros are - music advantage, hyper mode aggressive acceleration, 36 boot space, projectors headlamps, and good breaking.
Cons are - software glitches, no abs, 7 hours of charging time, and expensive parts.

  • 100 waste of money!

    Anuj

The worst customer care and the bike is not giving 180 as mentioned it will give around 100 to 120 only.
A charge is quickly dropping. It's not recommended for long rides (you can take 10 to 15 kms if emergency)
You may think of saving the cost of petrol, but it will waste all your money on charging itself..

  • Its has been 6 months i purchased this scooter.3 months it will be in service centre only

    Gautham

Performance is good but the thing is range will drop drastically to 0 sometimes and the service team is very worst they will keep scooter 20-30 days with them and won't solve the problems completely. For a new scooter they took it around 10-12 times to the service station and the thing everything is online we cannot go and ask for our rights there.

  • Ugly white duckling

    Ali Nawaab

The starting point is the buying experience and it differs from person to person as it is a subjective matter now without wasting time on it we will move on. I have an old pulsar ns 200 and so I wanted something easier going on pocket as well as on road.
I had to convince my family members because it's the first scooter as well as the first electric in my family costing 1.42 lakh on road after subsidies.
They were also comparing it with other normal scooters like activa etc hence the hesitation.
I don't like the way it looks hence I call it an ugly white duckling also mine is white in colour again looks are subjective.
Now let's talk about performance here means riding modes so different moods has different modes jokes apart.
The basic starting mode is eco mode and I call it lazy mode after this you have the normal mode which I call an ordinary mode as it behaves like any 100cc scooter going ahead there is this sports mode things are interesting from here as it behaves like any 125cc petrol-powered scooter available in the market and finally you have the hyper mode things are really hyper here I call it as the beast mode it is in this mode that you need to handle it responsibly as they say with power comes the great responsibility of course at the cost of reduced range.
As far as suspension wise this scooter is pretty below ordinary I will say so do not expect any wonders on the suspension part
I personally don't like the positioning of the side stand as it is too close to the front tyre rather than the rear tyre and that feels awkward to me. The floorboard is not flat and you feel the hump on it something like a spine which again is not good for keeping stuff on it.
Since there is no exhaust sound and that is the reason I think street dogs start running after you, especially during nighttime.
I was facing an issue with the side stand as the sensor was not able to detect whether it's engaged or disengaged reason being due to rain dust got accumulated on the side stand sensor so it stopped performing its duties lols so you need to clean it regularly.
I also got a safety guard fixed on it which cost 4500 and I feel it's on the expensive side. I was not able to find any option to post pictures of the scooter or its accessories so that readers of this review can see the same. Anyways I will end this review saying happy riding and safe riding to all riders and bikewale community as well. Bye and thanks.

  • Good ev in the hand of wrong company

    Brijesh Bajpai

I buy online but no finance options are available for me even though my cibil was 790, so I made a down payment 1.56 lac. The riding experience is awesome. I purchased this ev just for looks and features. I only need servicing one time and my ev picked up and drop to my residence but the problem is, no service center is available in kanpur, the nearest service center in lucknow. Good pickup, looks but the features promised by the company is still under development so I am feeling ditched by the company.

  • Wait and watch before you commit

    Nandakumar

I booked ola just to get a test ride by paying an advance of 500. I should say I was bowled over when I did the test ride. I was not serious to buy ola but then when they gave the gerua colour offer on holi, i bought it. From the date of full payment, I got the vehicle in about a month's time. Everything was done through the app. Updates were coming as notifications. However, there was no way to know the real-time information about the delivery status. It was carefully packed while delivering but the number plate was already bent.
It is the silence during the ride that I like the most. No sound from the motor, just the new tyre sounds. Pickup is amazing. Whenever we decide we can easily accelerate and pass other vehicles.
The look is the same as etergo the netherland scooter. The only con with the looks is that it looks like a scooty and not a scooter. The under-seat capacity is good enough to hold my laptop if I leave the charger and other items behind. The range is about 90 km. There was a sudden drop to 0 in just 10 seconds and the vehicle switched off when the range was still showing 45 km. They claim a true range of 135 km for s1 pro but that is not true. I had to get that towed to my home taking their roadside assistance but it took me 6 hours to get the scooter home. I am doing a hard reset of the s/w as instructed by them every other day so that the display will show the right range. There will be a loss of about 5% battery every night when you are not charging. There is a slight lag in the pickup initially but then it moves fast. The reverse mode gives a push and doesn't respond for a few seconds. Again another push and then gets cut off. It is safer this way compared to the complaints I hear from other customers of over-speeding in the reverse mode and going forward when reversing.
I have not gone for a service or maintenance. It is still new - I have driven about 400 km so far. Their customer care was friendly and helpful. They followed up a couple of times after the issue was resolved. I am still awaiting the upgrade of the software version which will have all the other features that were promised for s1 pro - cruise control, hill control, Bluetooth, navigation, etc. Hyper charging stations are yet to be installed in bangalore. The front shocks are making me worry because there is a noise and there are complaints of this breaking when negotiating speed breakers.
Overall, this is a good and ambitious scooter project which failed miserably. Ola has to re-brand its scooter and earn customer loyalty to remain in the market. Significant pros are the looks, under-seat capacity, and display system. Cons are unfirm rear grips, useless front leg room (you can't keep your grocery box or bag there due to the central hump), flimsy side stand (center stand is not a possibility by design), and not useful for saree-clad women on the rear - no footrest for them, control buttons are difficult to reach.

The worst customer care and the bike is not giving 180 as mentioned it will give around 100 to 120 only.
A charge is quickly dropping. It's not recommended for long rides (you can take 10 to 15 kms if emergency)

  • Its has been 6 months i purchased this scooter.3 months it will be in service centre only

    Tips for other riders

Make sure all the sensors like side stand sensors etc are kept clean do not let dirt get accumulated on it otherwise it starts malfunctioning.
