The S1 Pro is Ola Electric’s flagship scooter and the company rolled out its second generation model in 2023. It is based on the company’s Gen 2 platform and features some improvements over the first-generation scooter. This includes a flat-floor board, conventional telescopic fork, and a double-sided swingarm.
The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2’s electric motor makes a higher peak power of 11kW but the continuous power is down from 5.5kW to 5kW. Ola S1 Pro offers a top speed of 120kmph. Ola claims the S1 Pro Gen 2 scooter accelerates from 0-40kmph in 2.6 seconds, which is faster than the first-generation S1 Pro.
While the battery pack is the same as before, Ola says that they have made a few tweaks to enable more range. They claim the scooter has a certified range of 195km in Eco mode. Besides the Eco mode, the scooter gets three additional modes - Normal, Sports, and Hyper.
Tweaks to the chassis have also led to a drop in weight, with the scooter now tipping the scales at 116kg. This should make the scooter pretty light and easy to manoeuver. Braking duties, meanwhile, are carried out by disc brakes at either end.
Coming to the features, since this is the Ola flagship electric scooter, you get a 7-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Other features include cruise control, hill hold, and LED lights.
The Ola S1 Pro is available in five colours – Jet Black, Matt White, Stellar Blue, Midnight Blue, and Amethyst.
The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 goes up against the Ather 450 Apex, Ather 450 X, and the Simple One.

You can use this scooter for daily purposes and also for emergencies if your scooter is in full charge. The brakes are very good, the Shock absorbers are only average, Motor pick-up and speed of the scooter are unbelievable. When coming to range in normal mode you can drive up to 100 - 110 Km at the speed of 50 - 60 kmph. In ECO mode you can get up to 130 km.

1.5 years and 20k kms review S1 Pro

The scooter is currently giving a range of 80-90 km per full charge in normal mode. Around 10-15 kms depreciated due to battery aging since the initial days. The software is slow. Glitches can happen anytime and will have to be reset by pressing two switches. It will take 7-8 hours to fully charge from home.I usually commute through the city and I've never got lost on the road with it. Recently did a 50 km ride and the scooter started to show an overheating warning and got stuck in the middle of the road. It happened multiple times and I had to wait for some time to get it back on.The rear tire lasted for 18k kms and the brake pads will cost 1500 INR. I change pads every 5000 kms. However, the service experience is still horrible. You will have to wait for hours to just change pads. Flashed software around 8 months back. Service centers are asking for labor charges for scooters in warranty.Overall experience is mixed. But it is saving a good amount of money on fuel.It is still better than buying a petrol scooter if you ride for at least 30-40 kms per day on average.Performance is excellent in sports mode and hyper mode but you'll need to compromise on range. Reverse mode, cruise control, and hill hold an advantage in daily use.

If you like to use technology with performance, this is the best. I use all the features like a proxy sensor, geofence, etc and I must say Ola did a great job with it. If I talk about the performance then it's outstanding thanks to modes like sports and hyper. I am a little bit disappointed by the build quality. Also at higher speeds, it doesn't give the confidence and on a wet surface, it slips.

Ola S1 Pro experience review

Pradeep Hazra
I am happy with the Ola S1 Pro, especially with its range and comfortable ride it's budget-friendly, especially when the petrol price is so high also it's so packed with features but the downside is there are hardly any fast chargers, and also fast chargers are not available in most places otherwise best choice for an electric scooter.

I have never seen this service, I have taken this for EMI it cost 200000. I've been suffering for 2 months, Till now I haven't gotten any free service. If I go near the showroom for paid service they never respond. All the mechanical parts shaking like anything. And sometimes the tyer will come out automatically. Please my humble request to the public is don't bye an Ola bike. If you're taking you will suffer.

Most of the features are gimmicks eg proximity unlock, which works 1/10 times, music over speakers etc. The scooter is good until you face any problem, which you'll definitely do. The real issue starts when something breaks, you keep following service people and no one listens, and no one has any idea of the whereabouts of the scooter. And biggest scam is the Care+ plan. You won't get any benefits from it.Soon the sale will take a hit once legacy players catch up and Ola won't be able to sustain. Better to avoid buying.

Worst Scooter in the universe
Rameshwar Prasad
I purchased Ola S1 pro in Aug 24 my personal opinion after experiencing is that please please don’t buy Ola scooter it's the worst scooter I have ever seen. Comfort- there is zero comfort while driving you may not be able to balance your body.Service- service is worse than any Government office in the last 3 months my scooter was damaged 3 times whenever I go for service they will say the slot is not available, & when I try online slot will not be available. If you have an appointment for also entire day you have to be there.Value for money — it can never be value for money I want to sell my scooter and go for any compatible one.
