Buyer beware revolt motors

Revolt motors is a fraud company. They provided a booking to me in december 2021 at navi mumbai hub and promised delivery by march-April 2022. All questions regarding booking to their customer support were redirected to say my delivery date is not yet near so the dealership will contact you near the delivery date. After the delivery date was passed, upon contact with revolt motors, customer service agents finally admitted they have no dealership operating in navi Mumbai, and my booking is indefinitely delayed. They keep lying and repeatedly asking me to wait a few more days. I contacted revolt motors to change my booking from non-existent navi mumbai hub to the actual mumbai hub in andheri which is 45 minutes from where I live.Revolt motors failed to transfer the booking to mumbai hub despite my offer to pay for the bike in full without financing. The mumbai hub has a telephone number that is always switched off.Mumbai hub offered to pursue my booking if I pay them in advance in full and then wait for them to deliver me my bike. However, revolt motors customer service representatives stated motorcycle will not be issued unless they transfer the hub for my booking and then failed to do the hub transfer. I urge everyone to recognize this company may be pulling a scam by taking people's booking amounts and delivering nothing. I tried to cancel my booking online and have been directed to contact navi mumbai dealer for cancellation- a dealer that does not exist - a fact revolt motors is well aware of, yet continues to provide bookings and references to non-existent location.

More cons than pros

I booked this bike, waited 6 months, and had 3 fights with the showroom to own it. The bike is very smooth on the roads, has a great pickup in traffic jams, excellent maneuverability. A pillion will make the speed and range lower, it's great otherwise. Hate the service. The parts for this bike are rarer than a Triumph Tiger. Low maintenance and low running costs make this good for city rides. A removable battery allows charging in most areas. Good riding posture. Highest efficiency for kWh to range in km. Good stock tires. Sufficient initial torque. Too many moving parts in circuitry and terminals may get damaged due to wear and tear. This bike hates water and will throw tantrums if water gets inside any of the parts. Bad seats are not meant for rides longer than 5 km. Short handlebar. Changing between modes is useless at slower speeds in terms of power-saving. The sound makes no sense unless some random kids are excited about it. A good buy if you want an EV bike over a scooter and most of your travel is less than 120 km in a day. Build a charging socket in your parking to make things easier. Be proactive with the servicing as parts are rare, join my group to get them faster from different sources. Not an ad, just helping you out as a future owner.

Tips for other riders
Switch the remote key set with a physical key set and your problems will be halved; cover your instrument cluster from water and dust.
