My leisure ride re bullet 350

Very nice and vintage look.

Feel very comfortable while riding.

I had good experience with this bike.

The gear shift is very nice .

This bike has right side gear shift.

To put it in neutral while a halt you just have to use the shorter gear stick.

The mileage is also very nice.

I have used this bike very smoothly.

Never used it very roughly.

With this bike you also get the signature vintage bullet exhaust note.

Classic 350 commuter mimics elder sibling classic 500 when it comes to styling, or to put it this way, it can be referred as the smaller version of the latter. Donning the retro design, the commuter bike is reminiscent of classic machines from yesteryear. Power generation is done by a uce engine displacing 346cc. Outputting decent power and torque, the engine yields reasonable mileage. On the performance front, classic 350 does well, offering great ride quality.

Built around the single downtube chassis, classic 350 measures 2160mm long, 790mm wide, 1090mm high, has a wheelbase of 1370mm and ground clearance of 135mm. The design as mentioned in the beginning reminds of the dated bikes from decades ago, especially the chrome bordered round head lamp up front and the handle bar. Other key elements on the bike like body painted suspension, round fuel tank and mud-guard reinforce the retro semblance. Instrument console is suave while rear features tail lamp with indicators and a license plate. Single saddle seat with springs offers comfortable ride while on the go.

I am riding bullet standard 350 from past 4 years , i have purchased this bike when i was in 12th class .I was the only guy that time who rides a bullet to school.I was like to have a very superior felling that time when i go to school. So, i how i choose this bike.See that time i faced many problems when selecting my bike i have 2 options 1 is yamaha r 15 and other is bullet. After discussing with my elder cousins and my friends i finally decided that i will go with bullet. Then i purchased this bike.My experience with this bike has been very awesome. In past 4 years i have not faced any major problems with this bike .And talking about minor ones those are small problems which all the bullet have like fuse blown etc.I am also very happy with fuel economy of this bike because as being a 350cc motorcycle my bullet gives around 42 to 45 kmph of mileage which is awesome for me.

So, at last i want to say if you are rich delight brat then re is not for you. To handle a re you should have guts in your testicles .Some people say bullet are heavy slow machine , but i would rather say before commenting on it first clearly read its name which clearly say royal and royal things are meant for giving you a royal feeling. My love increase day by day for dug duggg...................!!

You have bikes and you have supernatural entities. Now,the electra twin spark is one such entity. The bike is a package deal of everything what a long distance rider craves for!! coming to the riding experience,i have covered almost the entire south Indian states except for andhra. The handling, torque maneuverability is very good ensuring a smooth and most importantly a very safe ride.

the bike is a marque bullet with it's typical British looks. The styling is so unique and soothing that you cannot stop looking at the bike.Sometimes you get lost!! the throttle is smooth as sail til you hit the 90-100kmph mark. After that it is hard to keep the throttle open because of the vibrations and rattling. Now, why would anyone want to judge an elephant from it's ability to climb a tree??the engine never gives up in the harshest conditions be it rains of the western ghats or the blistering heat of dhanushkodi the engine can carry on forever. The bike offers me a decent mileage of 36kmpl in highways after changing the exhaust to short bottle! the transmission is promising although there is a "forever" issue with the sprockets. This happens due to very bad maintenance though.Having talked of the maintenance i will be guilty of lying if i forget to mention regarding the poor electrical. Yes, re has performed pathetically wrt electrical. True that there are good mechanical engineers when compared to electrical(pun intended)!

Now it is always better to summaries the rhetoric and help everyone buy the bike :

Pros

1)engine-unit construction engine offers better power

2)comfortable bike for long distance riding

3) can endure difficult terrains

4)maneuverability in city and highway traffic (yea my hometown is bengaluru).

5)low maintenance compared to the old cis.

Cons:

1)throttle response

2) poor electrical

3) drive sprocket and end sprocket wears out during monsoons

4) constant care is needed to ensure you avoid heavy bills from your mechanic

Re-electra-5s-twinspark is one hell of a bike and i have been using it since 2012.Now after a major revamp in design(logo) the bike is left in the market by the name bullet es 350 where es means electric start only!! i recommend this bike for whom motorcycling is a passion and being a traveler is their alter ego. This bike can take you to your dream destinations!!

Tips for other riders

Every 3000km change the engine oil. Before every trip carry a spare clutch wire.Do not ride the bike with flat tyres. Battery is the essence of the bike and change it if it is in bad state
