Royal Enfield Bullet 350: A Timeless Classic Refined
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a motorcycle unlike any other. It's a timeless classic that has been around for decades, known for its distinctive thump, rugged build, and simple charm. But is it the right choice for you in today's motorcycle landscape? This review dives deep into the Bullet 350, exploring its strengths, weaknesses, and who it might best suit.
Strengths:
Classic Style: The Bullet 350's biggest draw is undoubtedly its iconic design. It harkens back to a bygone era of motorcycling, with its teardrop fuel tank, single seat (optional pillion seat available), and chrome accents. It's a motorcycle that turns heads wherever it goes.
Comfortable Ride: The Bullet 350 boasts an upright riding position that is comfortable for cruising and touring. The well-padded seat, along with the suspension, provides a relaxed and enjoyable ride experience.
Improved Engine: The 2023 update brought a new J-series engine that offers increased refinement and smoother performance compared to previous models. While not a powerhouse, it delivers enough torque for comfortable cruising and navigating city streets.
Fuel Efficiency: The Bullet 350 is known for its impressive fuel economy, making it a budget-friendly option for everyday use.
Unique Ownership Experience: Owning a Royal Enfield is more than just having a motorcycle; it's about belonging to a community. With a rich history and passionate following, owning a Bullet 350 connects you to a unique world of enthusiasts.
Weaknesses:
Limited Performance: The Bullet 350 is not known for its speed or acceleration. It's not ideal for those seeking a high-performance machine or wanting to tackle highways at high speeds.
Vibrations: While improved, the engine can still produce some vibrations, especially at higher speeds. This might be a concern for some riders.
Simple Features: Compared to modern motorcycles, the Bullet 350 lacks features like a digital instrument cluster, a front disc brake (on some variants), and advanced safety features like ABS (available on some variants).
Maintenance: Royal Enfields require regular maintenance compared to some modern motorcycles. This can be a deterrent for some riders who prefer a low-maintenance experience.
Who is it for?
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a perfect choice for:
Riders who prioritize style and a unique ownership experience.
Those seeking a comfortable and relaxed ride for cruising and touring.
Budget-conscious riders looking for a fuel-efficient motorcycle.
Individuals who appreciate the simplicity and classic charm of motorcycles.
Overall:
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a motorcycle that goes beyond just transportation. It's a statement piece that evokes emotions and connects you to a rich history. While it may not be the most feature-packed or performance-oriented motorcycle, it offers a unique and rewarding riding experience for those who appreciate its timeless charm and character. If you're looking for a motorcycle that prioritizes style, comfort, and individuality over raw power and cutting-edge features, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 might just be the perfect ride for you.

  • I am so happy. To enjoying bullet 350

    Ganesh Maloth

Good pickup. Mileage 40 for 1litre.comfort seating seat. I am so happy to buy the bike. Miltery black bullet 350. The engine has an impressive amount of low and mid-range torque which makes it an effortless and stress-free city riding tool. Even if you’re in a gear higher for a given speed, a slight twist of the throttle pulls the bike ahead briskly and executing overtakes is easy.

I have been riding it for many years now. Truly, there is no bike that can compete with it the best bike ever seen in my life. You can't believe it's amazing. Very good mileage. Cheap service and the best report card. We have five bikes in the family and all my brothers used to travel on this so I suggest.

I Bought this Bike in 2017, it's a BS4 Bullet Electra 350. My riding experience was great. I have completed so many long rides on this Bike. I get an impressive mileage of 40 kms per litre on highways.
The Maintenance is absolutely less. It offers a really comfortable ride. and the power is also amazing, I've been to so many hill stations, it provides uncompromising torque while riding upon steep hills. You should always be concerned about the engine oil.
I change the engine oil for every 3000 kms. It didn't produce any problems till now. The major disadvantage is, that the rear brake is a drum brake, which does not provide any effective braking. Some parts are easily rustable as they are mostly made of metal.

  • Powerful bike

For me purchasing Royal Enfield Bullet 350cc was a thrilling experience. It feels like a premium bike not for its built-in quality but for the legacy it has for a long time in India.
When it comes to the riding experience of this bike. it has an upright seating position and a wide handlebar, It ensures comfort during long rides. However at higher speeds vibrations can be heard but it can be a downside for some riders which is negligible. Bullet 350 stays true to its aesthetic design, detailing and handcrafted reels, which makes it more appealing to riders. It has a powerful single-cylinder and 4-stroke engine. The performance can be measured well on highways and off-roads. In terms of service and maintenance of this bike, it costs around 1.5k to 2k for its service.

I Bought it in June 2024 my dream and first bike as bullet 350standard maroon with double abs. I drove it for two thousand km. Good styling, comfort, normal mileage. Goes like the name bullet but in Chennai traffic nothing to say. Worth buying and if possible changing the exhaust for dub sound or if you do not feel bullet for that sound change to an alloy wheel after 15 or 20 thousand km.

  • Retro bullet with muted silencer still shoots...

    Balasubramaniyan

I Bought it in June 2024 my dream and first bike as bullet 350standard maroon with double abs. I drove it for two thousand km. Good styling, comfort, normal mileage. Goes like the name bullet but in Chennai traffic nothing to say. Worth buying and if possible changing the exhaust for dub sound or if you do not feel bullet for that sound change to an alloy wheel after 15 or 20 thousand km.

I love Bullet but after I bought a Bullet I saw some negative points that I want to share with you, my bullet gives mileage of 25 after 1st service in 300 km fits the seat a little, and would have to improve the average and give tubeless tires, It would be great if you do this much and thank you

  • Evergreen bike, no one can erase its existence.

    Parveen Kumar
