I myself own a royal enfield classic 500 chrome (black). We have 3 colour options black, green, graphite.
In looks wise bike is super shiny and cool . Easy to maintain outer body, just water it and wipe when it’s dirty you will see a super clean bike (90%clean). You have 13.5l fuel tank (750ml dead reserve ). It’s a 194kg(dry weight) 499cc bike with single cylinder 4 stroke and a digital electric ignition with compression ratio of 8.5:1 which output 27.2bhp@5250rpm and 41.3nm of torque @4000rpm . Bike is equipped with wet multiplate clutch & 5speed gear box and has a ground clearance of 135mm. And it is equipped with 153mm drum rear brake(which is very bad and cons in thz bike the brake die very soon in 500cc bike compared to 350cc bike ) and 280mm disc front brake. Chain sprocket and chain should be maintained well because sprocket teeth brakes easy if you don’t maintain it properly and improper gear shifting also will dame it which will cost you around 2.5k-3k to change it. Bike is really good but one should know how to control the bike with the gear down shift because the rear brake dies very soon and you will have to change the brake very often. No fuel indicator only when the bike is left with 2l of fuel the fuel gauge light blinks . Top speed which i have personally done is 137kmph(and with vibration) . Ride the bike below 100 to keep up the proper feeling of riding the re500. Try to ride slow in wet roads . Even the tap leak water from truck can make your tyre slip from control.
Tips for Royal Enfield Classic Chrome
Lube your bike chain every 500km or 30 days to maintain chain amd sprocket . And always ride with correct tyre pressure (don't fill air when bike is heated up it will show the wrong psi as the rubber will be burnt and will have heat air , always fill up air when bike is cool)

I can tell everyone who wants to choose between classic 350 or 500 , see don't trust any other review just go for 500.. It's the real bullet, you can feel the riding pleasure and there won't be much vibration etc.. Only cons is the mileage apart from it.. you can't find any other fault in this ... Just go for 500 and feel the real bullet experience....

Engine issue in just 30k km, done re boring close to 15000rs, self start related debug, another 4000rs, ignition lock damaged, carburetor float issue, and list goes like that.. Very very unreliable poor jung of iron.2 time chain and sprocket changed already, Another funny idea by royal enfield is make a bike with majority of iron, and keep swing arm bush some kind of plastic or fiber, that damage every 7k run.

It is a good bike but it vibrates a lot after 100kmph. It's exhaust is also loud and also almost every part in motorcycle can be customized as your wish. You can add new lights turn indicators etc. It is too heavy which makes it difficult to get out from the traffic in cities. Pillion seat also optional.

Royal enfield show cases its bikes in pretty cool showrooms. Above all the engine sound while riding keeps you elated. Royal enfield gives its bike a tough and hardcore look while classic models seems to be cool. Not yet approached for servicing. I am happy to own this bike and it gives me pleasant feeling while riding.

Royal enfield classic 500 chrome review
Sidak Singh
Pros-1) this bike is full of chrome which looks attractive and has zero plastic which will reduce the repairing cost in case of an accident. 2) the suspension of royal enfield is very good. You will not feel the bumpy jerks when the bike goes into the pothole. 3) the build quality of the bike is very good and is good for cruising. 4) the most important part is the thump that it produces. The bike has a unique thump which you will not get in other bikes. 5) a lot of accessories are available for royal enfield bikes. It means that there are abundant modifications available for royal enfield like silencers, filters, leg guards drl led headlights, endless varieties of wheels, alloy models etc. For a motorcycle enthusiast this machine is very good. Now these are the pros. Now we will talk about the cons. Cons 1)weak rear brakes. Though the front wheel has a disc brake but the rear wheel has a drum brake. So i am very disappointed with it. They should be rear disc brakes as well which are now available in gunmetal grey and stealth black models but don't have in my classic 500 chrome. 2) a lot of vibrations while riding between 90-100kmph. If you are riding at a constant speed your handlebar vibrates like hell so this a con. 3) no fuel gauge. The bike has no fuel gauge so i am very disappointed with this as it is the most essential feature in a bike. So according to me these are the pros and cons of royal enfield classic 500 chrome. Hope it helps.

Change engine oil after 3000 km, replace air filter after 2000 km if you are living in a dusty area or you can also clean the air filter. I would suggest you to use synthetic oil rather than royal enfield oil. After 8000kms please check your fork oil and brake oil levels and refill them if required. In every service make sure to clean the throttle body and fuel pump. After every 500km clean and lube your chain with chain lube oil as it will keep your bike smooth and will enhance the life of your chain.

The new enfield chrome is a new trend nowadays. I prefer if u going for classic 500. Please take a look to the new chrome version of it, It’s chrome reflects the boldness of an bullet. Although the toughness of a 500 cc bike. Give a good impact with its chrome finish. The price is bit high. But i prefer its an good newly arrived bike. So just go for it guys.

Let the chrome(sick boy) to have single seat....Then it looks absolutely mind blowing retro charm....When it comes to torque even duke 390 have 35 nm i thank....But this thing got massive 43.5(approx) nm of torque...In each & every gear it seems in hurry....It pulls the front suspension every time you change gear & throttle it...

Tips for other riders
Change engine oil after 3000 km, replace air filter after 2000 km if you are living in a dusty area or you can also clean the air filter. I would suggest you to use synthetic oil rather than royal enfield oil. After 8000kms please check your fork oil and brake oil levels and refill them if required. In every service make sure to clean the throttle body and fuel pump. After every 500km clean and lube your chain with chain lube oil as it will keep your bike smooth and will enhance the life of your chain.
