Tips for other riders
Always change the oil after 3000 km and the tube also if you think that tyre is getting cut then you can change it. Always see oil in your bike for smooth rotation. Check brake also it is my advice because when I went off-road I could not see all this it became a huge problem for me.

Superb Bike

The riding experience of this bike was very good I like the mileage capacity of this bike. The rideability of this bike is very good in long drives and off-road drives, tires are very good. The servicing and maintenance cost of this bike is very low Gets a mileage of 35 on the highway Royal Enfield has been a very strong pillar in the Indian motorcycle scene. With bikes like the Bullet 350 and then eventually the Classic 350 helped the brand come back to the forefront of the industry after being on the brink of shutting shop. After the success of the Classic 350 got RE, the company began to experiment with different formats and also expanded its RnD operations beyond just India. One product as a result of this expansion was the Himalayan 411 launched in 2016. It was not perfect at launch but the intent of the bike and future revisions meant that it would soon become a global commercial success for the company. But, that bike, as nice as it was, had a few shortcomings. It was heavy, felt underpowered on the roads, and was not the most sophisticated. All that is in the past now with the grand arrival of what Royal Enfield is calling the all-new Himalayan. A liquid-cooled engine, a modern chassis, and modern electronics are all in a lighter package. RE is ticking all the right boxes so far but does it have the same friendly, non-intimidating nature that made the OG Himalayan a runaway success? Cue the mind montage!

1. I have placed order in December 2023 and supposed to wait for 1.5month as there was a huge demand in this new Himalayan 450. Bike got delivered in January end.2. It was really a versatile riding experience. It is a perfect on for the person above 5.10ft. Though the weight is around 200 kg it doesn't feel like that.3. It has stunning looks. Cannot be compared with old Himalayan 411. Front wheel mudguard is catchy. The new tail lamps works as both indicator and break lights. Group clearance has been increased, so need no to worry in off-road. I have ridden in katcha roads and highways too. Felt comfortable in both roads.4. As it comes with tube tyres, frequent tyre check is mandatory. New Himalayan comes with multiple riding modes ABS, ECO. So based on it's better to switch to different riding modes. Chain cleaning is a must thing to be done for every 500Km. Make sure that any mud or dust is not stucked in the chain area especially in rainy season. I had a 1st service check for Himalayan at 500km. Overall cost was around Rs.1300.5. Pros: Well designed for long rides with comfortable seating. It is capable in handling both katcha roads, highways.Cons: Headlight is not sufficient. Additionally installing fog lamps is recommended. Radiator gets turn on frequently if the gear shifting is done from 3rd to 4th. It provides lot of heat.
