I bought a Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Rebel Blue on 12th October 2024. Since then I have ridden this bike as my daily commuter and l have also gone for a small bike ride from Navi Mumbai to Lonavala.
Pros:-
Good Design.
Excellent Service.
You become a part of Royal Enfield ride groups and the merchandise is really good quality.
Punchy torque.
Lightweight to ride even if it is a 350 cc bike, my father who is a short person can ride it comfortably, so if you are a short rider then go for it.
Cons:-
You can feel vibrations in the handlebar beyond 80 kmph.
No tachometer (Revv meter), this often is not a huge con but for shifting smoothly and matching revs while downshifting would be helpful.
Rear suspensions are stiff. If you have lower back pain then please avoid this bike, the suspension could have been firmer or softer. Although you can tune the suspension from 3rd party, from the factory it should have been to a softer side as it is a daily commuter for many people, and on Indian roads a softer suspension would be more comfortable.
Conclusion:-
The purpose of buying this bike is my father's dream to have a Royal Enfield but since he is a short person he was not able to ride other Royal Enfields like Classic 350 or Meteor. This bike has aspiration value for my father so it makes me happy that his dream has come true.
As an avid rider, I would prefer other options like the Honda CB350RS, Triumph Speed T4, Yezdi Roadster, and Jawa 42 FJ.
