First of all, the bike is far lighter than the classic 350 and bullet. There are only approx 15kgs of difference between the classic and this but it feels a lot lighter so people who are looking for Enfield in cities should get this. The retro variant lacks a few features but overall very value for the money. Would have been better if it gave better mileage because it was meant for driving in traffic.

I purchased Royal Enfield Hunter from kazhakootam showroom kerala tvm on November 14, 2024. It’s almost only 1 month that I have been using this bike today December 18. But now I can’t start the bike by self and there is no kicker at all. It’s a new bike only and how it happens like this. We customers are trusting you that’s why we are approaching you but it is a bad experience for me. I enquired with the staff in the showroom they were telling like like that it might be a battery problem but within a month how it will happen. If we are trusting you then we need that loyalty back.
I won’t suggest anyone purchase this. Really I feel so sad.
And one more thing, the headlight is always on when the bike is on, I know as per road traffic safety it is mandatory but the issue I have noticed is it gets heats a lot of, maybe it will blast, that much heat it is producing.
This happens to me in the daytime only so I can approach everyone but when it happens at night time or in an emergency how I will manage.
So make the arrangement as soon as possible

    Tips for other riders

**Maintenance Tips for Royal Enfield Hunter 350:** 1. **Regular Oil Checks:** Ensure you check the engine oil level regularly and top up as necessary. Regular oil changes as per the manufacturer's recommendations are crucial for optimal engine performance. 2.**Brake Inspection:** Regularly inspect the brakes for proper operation and wear. Replace brake pads when they become worn out and ensure the brake fluid is topped up and free from contamination. 3. **Electrical System:** Check all lights, indicators, and electrical components regularly to ensure they are functioning correctly. Replace any faulty bulbs or components promptly to maintain visibility and safety on the road. 4. **Cooling System:** Keep an eye on the coolant level and ensure the cooling system is free from leaks or blockages. Flush and replace the coolant as per the manufacturer's recommendations to prevent overheating. 5. **General Cleaning:** Regularly clean the bike, including the bodywork, engine, and other components, to prevent the buildup of dirt, grime, and corrosion. Use mild detergent and water to clean, and avoid high-pressure washers that may damage sensitive components. 6. **Storage:** If storing the bike for an extended period, ensure it is stored in a dry, well-ventilated area, preferably under a cover. Consider using a trickle charger to maintain the battery charge and prevent it from discharging. 7. **Periodic Servicing:** Follow the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and schedule regular maintenance checks with an authorized service center. This will help identify any potential issues early and keep the bike in optimal condition. By following these maintenance tips, you can ensure that your Royal Enfield Hunter 350 remains reliable, performs well, and provides you with many enjoyable rides for years to come.

I never owned the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, merely went for a test drive.
The RE brand image is the most prominent in India, where everyone wants to display tashan.
The classic bullet is one of the reasons for this because no rider rides a bullet while being slouched. They ride with confidence and enhance the feeling of power.
The hunter 350 captures most of that reputation with its powerful engine and presenting exhaust. The peak power is felt from 2nd gear onwards up to 4th at around 70kph. The bike seems to struggle after that and vibrations aggressively present themselves.
I rode the dapper variant with dual-channel abs. One of the main concerns is even at the cheapest variant, the most expensive variant of the TVS ronin beats it in terms of features, mileage, and power. Also, drum brakes with single-channel abs?
All in all, the hunter is a great machine, but not the best in the price bracket. Re fans may go for it, but the ronin may just pull ahead.

    Renjith Manohar
