I went to a re-showroom in Aug 2022 and saw a just launched classic chrome red. I must admit that I was planning to buy a bigger bike like the interceptor 650 from re but the looks of the classic 350 chrome red were captivating and I bought it , almost on an impulse . I have not regretted my decision in hindsight. I have ridden it for about 10000 km mostly for communing in traffic with an occasional long trip on the open highway . The first thing i like about the bike is it’s low-end torque, it develops about 27 nm at 4000 rpm but a lot of this 27 nm is available from very low revolutions. This makes it riding in traffic fairly easy , no need to rev the engine to coax the bike into action , it moves very smoothly on slight throttle inputs. Next good thing about the engine is its smoothness. It has very little vibrations, and they do not increase as you take the bike faster even to its top speed, which i recon, is about 115-120 kmph . I have installed the re-accessory large windshield, large leg guards and aluminum engine guard. Apart from the fact that these accessories enhance the look of the bike , they are also functional, especially the windshield which keeps things comfortable for the rider even at speeds in excess of 100 kmph . I was tempted to buy the under-seat springs ( for that old-school look ) and touring seats but decided against them in the interest of keeping the cost down . The bike returns an average of about 32 km per litre while commuting in peak-hour traffic on bangalore roads. On highways, with a retrained right wrist I was able to get around 40 kmpl . The fuel tank is about 13 litres . The yellow low fuel light comes up after 9 litres are spent. One good feature of bike is that once the yellow light does come up the tripmeter switches to ‘f’ (for fuel ) and tells you how much you have ridden after the warning light m. The digital fuel gauge is not accurate and last 2 or 3 blocks indicate fuel go off rather quicker than you expect . There is no kick lever to start the bike but it is hardly needed as the bike starts up at the slightest twist of the wonderful rotary type switches on right handlebar. The quality of switchgear is good . There is also a usb charges provided to keep your mobile charged up on longer rides . The seating position is comfortable where the rider sits upright and not in some aggressive crouched position. The front seat of the classic is large and provides ample space for the whole of the rear end of the human anatomy , i feel it is much more comfortable than its larger 650 cc siblings or other more aggressive bikes . Even on longer rides , one can stay in the saddle for a few hours without any significant adverse effects . I have not used the pillion seat much but i think it must be ok for shorter rides for the passenger . The aluminum clutch lever is slightly hard but it adds to the character of the bike , it is an enfield after all , not some plasticky light-weight japanese bike . The speedometer is classic and suits the overall looks ( which are great in my opinion). The gear shifter is quite smooth and has both tow and heel shifter ( thankfully ! i can wear my formal shoes to my office without spoiling them ) . The gears slot in with a reassuring click , even downshifting is good , i did not miss the slipper clutch on this bike . One of the defining characteristic of the bike is the glorious exhaust note ! it has been toned down somewhat compared to older models but it still remains music to the ears of the aficionados . The exhaust note is loud enough when the bike is lugging , like going up a slope or under hard acceleration but settles down to a mild likeable thrum on cruising . One of my favourite parts of my daily commute is on my way back home when i have to negotiate a longish flyover .On other bikes i would be revving my engine to climb the incline and tempted to go fast , not on the classic 350 . I love the way the bike goes up in 3rd gear at a steady and torquey 35 kmph with nary a sign of stress on the engine and a glorious exhaust note for company , even when the traffic allows i find myself not trying to accelerate . The one negative i came across my particular bike was that since the beginning the speedometer seemed to generate internal heat . The heat was so intense that the speedo needle used to melt and the plastic sheet on which the speed markings are printed also used to get unstuck warp . The needle used to malfunction and give false reading . The authorised service centre was prompt to change the meter console without cost but the problem persisted , it took 4 changes of meter and an expert from re electricals to finally solve the problem . Later i found that this issues randomly and quite frequently comes up with new classic 350s . Hopefully re has noticed and will rectify it in future bikes . I must add that re changed 4 meter consoles for me free and were prompt at solving it when i raised the complaint . Here are my pros and cons of the bike Pros 1) continuing great classic looks sans the niggles and vibrations of older versions. The chrome red version turns heads on the road.2) much-improved reliability and refinement.3) good fuel efficiency and reasonable power for sane riding, especially suited for a more mature rider. 4) the glorious exhaust note, which has mellowed down but still remains potent. Cons1) while overall quality has improved there are some weaker points like melting meters and inaccurate readings. Some also complain about the rearview mirrors coming loose midway through a ride. 2) while a tachometer does not go with the overall vibes of the bike, some owners would love to have it on the instrument panel. Sum it up. It’s a great bike that stands out in the crown, is practical, comfortable and economical to maintain. If you are a mature sedate rider and need respect on the road, look no further.
Tips for Royal Enfield Old Generation Classic 350 2021
Do not miss the service provided with the bike, and keep to the recommended time and KMs . Do not exceed 60 km for the first 500 km . Take your bike to the Authorised service center only.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500 are models of Royal Enfield motorcycles which have been in production since 2009. The Classic series of Royal Enfield motorcycles is inspired by the Royal Enfield G2 350cc Bullet motorcycle, first produced in 1948. It has also been confused often with the Bullet for their similar look in design as the Classic is a modernized version of the original Royal Enfield Bullet.

Here are some tips for Bullet 350 riders: Get familiar with the bike. Spend time getting to know the controls, how the clutch and gears work, and the weight and handling characteristics of the Bullet 350 before setting out on the road. Take it slow at first. Master the basics. Practice starting, stopping, turning, and shifting gears in a safe, low-traffic area until you feel completely comfortable with the bike's operation. Wear proper safety gear. Always wear a DOT-approved helmet, as well as a sturdy riding jacket, pants, gloves, and boots to protect yourself in the event of a fall or accident. Adjust your riding style. The Bullet 350 has a more upright, relaxed riding position compared to sportier motorcycles. Lean back slightly and keep your elbows out to maintain control. Go easy on the throttle. The Bullet 350 has moderate power, but it's easy to accidentally accelerate too quickly, especially when starting from a stop. Apply the throttle smoothly and gradually. Be cautious in corners. The Bullet 350's classic design and long wheelbase mean it may not be as nimble in turns as more modern motorcycles. Approach corners at a speed you feel fully in control of. Maintain the bike properly. Follow the manufacturer's recommended service schedule and pay attention to details like tire pressure, chain tension, and fluid levels to keep the Bullet 350 running at its best. The key is to take the time to become thoroughly comfortable with the Bullet 350's unique characteristics before venturing into more challenging riding conditions. With patience and practice, it can be an incredibly rewarding motorcycle to ride.

It's a very classy bike It's feel like you're a king Very reliable bike Satisfied with this bike Sometimes, no matter how far away you see an unpleasant situation coming, it’s still impossible to take the bitterness and sting out of it. I always knew I would have to bid goodbye to our long-term Classic 350, and I didn’t need to spend too long with the bike to realize that it would be a tough one.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 are two popular models in the Royal Enfield lineup, each offering distinct features and characteristics. Here's a detailed review of both:### Royal Enfield Classic 350**1. Design and Build:** - **Aesthetics:** The Classic 350 is known for its retro design, which echoes the vintage aesthetics of the early Royal Enfields. It features a timeless look with a round headlamp, vintage speedometer, and a chrome finish. - **Build Quality:** It has a robust build with a solid, old-school feel. The use of metal for the body and frame enhances durability and gives it a classic charm.**2. Engine and Performance:** - **Engine:** It comes with a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine produces around 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. - **Performance:** The bike offers a relaxed and laid-back riding experience. It is well-suited for cruising at moderate speeds but may lack the power for aggressive overtaking or high-speed riding.**3. Comfort and Ergonomics:** - **Riding Position:** It has a comfortable, upright riding position that is easy on the back and wrists, making it ideal for long rides. - **Suspension:** The Classic 350 uses telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. This setup offers a comfortable ride over most terrains, though it might feel a bit stiff on rough roads.**4. Features:** - **Instrumentation:** The bike includes a traditional analog speedometer with a small digital display for trip information. - **Brakes:** It features disc brakes at the front and rear, enhancing stopping power and safety. Some variants come with dual-channel ABS for improved braking performance.**5. Handling and Ride Quality:** - **Handling:** The Classic 350 handles well in city traffic and on highways, though its weight might make maneuvering in tight spaces a bit cumbersome. - **Ride Quality:** The ride quality is generally good,

It's a very classy bike It's feel like you're a king Very reliable bike Satisfied with this bike Sometimes, no matter how far away you see an unpleasant situation coming, it’s still impossible to take the bitterness and sting out of it. I always knew I would have to bid goodbye to our long-term Classic 350, and I didn’t need to spend too long with the bike to realize that it would be a tough one.

the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden in my college time, the best part is its balance on turns, and when you sit no matter what the age you automatically sit straight because of the shape of the handle, the feel you get is that you are the owner of the road, feels like a king. The sound touches your heart.

I have been using this bike for 1+ years and I ride it very much it has a minimum mileage of 30km. Seats are very comfortable for a ride. I mainly bought this for a silencer. This bike has a good sound. Overall I just want to tell you that this bike is very good for show-off and for rides also. Prices are also good according to this bike as I think.

The main components checked and replaced are Engine oil, Oil filter, Brake pads, Fuel hose, and Front fork oil. The estimated service cost for the Bullet 350 over 3 years is ₹ 9,258. The Bullet 350 is a reliable and robust motorcycle that can last for years if properly serviced and maintained.
