  • Classic 350: Style and Reputation Outshine Performance

    Neil

After riding my Classic 350 for around 15,000 km, I have some mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the bike boasts a great look and a solid reputation, turning heads wherever I go. However, when it comes to performance, it falls short. Despite its 350 cc engine, it often feels underpowered, with even 100 cc bikes overtaking me on the highway. Additionally, stability is an issue, with significant vibrations that detract from the overall riding experience. While the Classic 350 excels in aesthetics, its performance leaves much to be desired.

Performance of the bike, does not depend just on the new unit constructed engine, but also on the usage. If ridden within acceptable limits, the bike will exhibit a higher than perceived fuel efficiency. I get raised eyebrows from people, when they hear my bike runs at 40–42 kmpl.
Although, the bike is sufficiently engineered to serve both everyday commute and long rides, it is still not a perfect machine. There may be minor sporadic issues like blown lighting bulbs(parking, speedo) , braking switches going kaput, clutch cable snapping and some more. So far, I have not experienced any serious breakdown, while on the road. Bottom line is, if the vehicle gets its due attention and servicing, chances are rather slim that one would face issues.
Like many RE bikes, it does not have tubeless tyres, which obviously means, that a puncture on the road will certainly cause some distress. But then, if you ride with the correct tyre pressure, you may not have to see that day.
As mentioned earlier, one can do long stretches on it, and it is quite comfortable. Credits to the spring seat for that. For the pillion rider though, I cannot say the same. The stock pillion seat and a lack of backrest, are to blame. In one of my rides along with a friend who rode pillion, after 9 hours of riding, he utterly refused to ride back in the same fashion, and took the overnight bus instead. May be, RE should think about the pillion rider too, and include a better pillion seat and a decent back rest.

Though it lacks features like a tachometer, a fuel gauge, which some consider standard in today's bikes, I personally did not feel the need. Absence of a fuel gauge will require you to do some math, and also be aware of fuel amount left. I am not sure if a tachometer will help in anything else, other than giving a clue on when to switch gears. If you intend to own one, then you must ride it once, get the feel of it, and let your senses decide.

  • The Beast Reborn

    Prasad Kalekar

The buying experience was really good. I went for Stealth Black. I test-drove other REs however Classic spoke to my heart by the way it drives. One word is effortless. The looks are very beastly. The reason for the 4 stars is weight is 195kg dry and heavy clutch. RE service centers are good. The staff is very professional. The ride at 70kmph in 5th gear is a delight. Buy one if don't want to be part of the race. With Classic you are in a league of your own. Seat height is not much of an issue. I am 5.7 ish and able to handle a bike very well. The headlight with the cap looks dope. The build quality is really solid. Stealth Black especially looks awesome.
    Pro:
    1) Low-end torque - pick up is awesome
    2) Relaxed Sitting Postures
    3) BS6 Variant is very Smooth, u won't believe you driving RE minimal vibes at high RPM
    4) Awesome looks from every angle
    5) Suspension on broken roads does not upset the rider
    6) Weight is pro on highways, great stability.
    Cons:
    1) Weight makes a presence in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
    2) Clutch is heavy above applies
    Final Thought :
If you are a relaxed rider, you will surely like the Classic. Old-school charm is charisma. The feeling while riding classic is irreplaceable. This comes from a person who has RTR 200 in parking.
I hope this will help you make an informed decision

  • Honest review of royal enfield classic 350 reborn

    Archisman Sarkar

I'm a proud owner of royal enfield classic 350 reborn (redditch green) and i must say that the bike is a whole new beast than its predecessor. Though my model is single channel abs, then also the braking is top notch. It's been 4 months since i bought my dream bike and I used it for everything. Before 1st service, it was giving a mileage of about 20-25 kmpl but after that, it was giving a whooping 35 kmpl in city. And in the highway, it's giving around 41-43 kmpl.
I can say that those who are going to buy a new cruiser bike, just close your eyes and buy this beast. Yes, you'll get less power than that of cb350 or jawa or yezdi, but i can say this, you'll get the feel of riding a motorcycle on this very machine.
Pros:- 1. Excellent comfort for both rider and pillion.
    2. Superb braking (both disc and drum brakes).
    3. High torque machine.
    4. Mileage around 32-35 kmpl in the city and 41-43 kmpl in the highway (overall mileage can vary from 33-36 kmpl).
    5. Superb acceleration.
    Cons :-
    1. Suspension is on the stiffer side.
    2. Tyre gripping is somewhat marginal (but it will definitely give you confidence).
    3. Ground clearance issue (don't use rear brake if you buy single-channel variant in any speed breaker, as the brake padel will definitely gonna get scratched by bump).

  • Classic Elegance: Royal Enfield Classic 350cc Review

    Satyendra Singh

The Royal Enfield Classic 350cc is a gem in the world of motorcycles. This machine combines classic design with modern performance, making it a top choice for riders seeking a timeless riding experience.
One of its standout features is the 350cc engine, which strikes a perfect balance between power and efficiency. It delivers a smooth and torquey ride, ideal for both city commutes and highway cruises. The thumping exhaust note is the signature Royal Enfield and adds to the bike's charisma.
Built on a sturdy frame, the Classic 350cc offers excellent stability and handling. The classic styling with vintage-inspired details like the teardrop fuel tank and leather seat is a visual treat, attracting attention wherever you go.
Comfort is another highlight with its well-padded saddle and ergonomically designed handlebars. It's a joy to ride for long hours without fatigue. The bike also boasts modern features like ABS, LED lighting, and a digital instrument cluster.
However, some might find the weight a bit challenging in tight spots, but it's a trade-off for the solid build quality.
In summary, the Royal Enfield Classic 350cc is a timeless classic that marries style and performance. If you crave the nostalgia of a bygone era with the conveniences of today, this bike is a perfect choice.

Maintenance tips for other riders for classic 350
If you're a rider of the royal enfield classic 350, here are some maintenance tips that you should keep in mind to ensure that your bike runs smoothly and lasts a long time:
Check the oil regularly: it's important to keep your engine lubricated, so check your oil levels regularly and change the oil every 3,000-4,000 km.
Keep the air filter clean: a dirty air filter can reduce your bike's performance, so clean it every 5,000-6,000 km or as needed.
Keep the chain lubricated: a dry chain can cause wear and tear on your bike's components, so lubricate it every 500 km or after riding in wet conditions.
Check the tire pressure: proper tire pressure is essential for good handling and safety, so check it regularly and fill it up as needed.
Maintain the battery: check the battery's water level and keep it charged regularly to prevent it from dying.
Keep the bike clean: regularly clean your bike to prevent rust and keep it looking good.
Check the brakes: make sure your brakes are working properly and replace the brake pads when they become worn.
Take it for regular services: get your bike serviced regularly by a qualified mechanic to ensure that everything is in good working order.
By following these maintenance tips, you'll be able to keep your royal enfield classic 350 runnings smoothly for years to come.
    Mileage of classic 350
The mileage of the royal enfield classic 350 depends on various factors such as riding conditions, maintenance, and the rider's habits. On average, the classic 350 can deliver a mileage of around 35-40 kmpl in city traffic and up to 45 kmpl on the highways, provided it is ridden in a fuel-efficient manner.
However, factors such as high-speed riding, frequent acceleration and deceleration, poor maintenance, and heavy loads can reduce the mileage of the bike. Therefore, it's important to maintain the bike properly, keep the tires inflated at the recommended pressure, and ride in a fuel-efficient manner to get the best possible mileage out of the classic 350.

  • Every thing about classic 350 in detail

    Gulshan Kumar

    Buying experience
    Riding experience
    Details about looks, performance etc.
    Servicing and maintenance
Pros and cons Of 350 classic
Here are some details about the royal enfield classic 350:
    Buying experience:
The buying experience of the classic 350 is usually good. The bike is widely available in the market and has a loyal fan following, so finding a dealership and test-riding the bike is not difficult. The price of the bike is also reasonable compared to its competitors in the same segment.
    Riding experience:
The classic 350 is a comfortable cruiser-style bike that provides a relaxed riding experience. The bike is easy to handle and has good low-end torque, making it ideal for city riding. The seat is comfortable, and the suspension does a good job of absorbing bumps on the road. However, the bike can feel a bit heavy and sluggish at high speeds.
    Looks and performance:
The classic 350 is a retro-styled bike that looks timeless and elegant. The bike has a classic round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and spoke wheels that add to its charm. The bike is powered by a 346cc air-cooled engine that produces 19.1 bhp of power and 28 nm of torque, which is adequate for its weight and size. The bike has a top speed of around 120 kmph and can go from 0-60 kmph in around 5.5 seconds.
    Servicing and maintenance:
Royal enfield has a good network of service centers across the country, and servicing and maintenance of the classic 350 is not a major issue. However, the bike requires regular maintenance and servicing, and the cost of spare parts can be slightly on the higher side compared to other bikes in the same segment.
    Pros:
    Classic and elegant looks
    Comfortable riding position
Good low-end torque for city riding
The wide availability of service centers.

I love my two Royal Enfield Classic 350 bikes and Thunderbird at home. Buying them was super cool. The people at the store were nice, and I felt happy getting them.
The Classic 350 looks so cool and feels powerful when I ride. The engine's loud sound is great, and it feels like an old-style bike. Having two of them makes me feel proud, and they've been reliable.
The buying process was easy, and the folks at the store were friendly and knew a lot about the bikes. I decided to get a Thunderbird too, and it's awesome. Every time I ride, it feels like I'm part of something special. I like Royal Enfield bikes a lot.
. I enjoy riding my Royal Enfield Classic 350 in Varanasi. It's great for Indian roads, and the cool design and strong engine make it awesome.
. The Royal Enfield's outlook and details are impressive, giving a premium and royal feel.
. Sometimes, the service seems pricey, but the overall experience feels safe and happy.
    Pros:
Classic Design: Stylish and timeless design with a premium feel.
Powerful Engine: Thumping engine for a strong and enjoyable ride.
    Cons:
Costly Servicing: Maintenance and servicing may be perceived as expensive.
Fuel Efficiency: Some models may have lower fuel efficiency.
I do recommend this bike as it is a symbol of royalty its road presence and look are the things that attracted me.

    Simran Khatun

    Siddharth Maurya

    Simran Khatun
