The Scram 411 is Royal Enfield's latest offering. It's priced at Rs 2,03,085 (ex-showroom Chennai) and available in 7 colours with the asking price ranging from Rs 2.03 lakh to Rs 2.08 lakh.
The Scram 411 borrows its styling cues from the Himalayan. It gets a round headlight although the unit looks a tad different with the cowl and the bezel. The frames that connect the tank to the headlamp unit on the Himalayan is eliminated on the Scram. Even the jerry can holders have made way for the small tank shrouds.
It's powered by a 411cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 24.3 bhp and a torque of 32 Nm. The Scram 411 is equipped with front and rear disc brakes, and gets an anti-locking braking system. It rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels wrapped in dual-purpose rubber.
On the feature front, the Scram 411 gets a halogen headlight flanked by bulb indicators and gets an LED taillight. It also features a single-pod instrument cluster with a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meter, fuel level indicator and other readouts. Royal Enfield will offer the tripper navigation pod as an optional accessory. Unlike the Himalayan, the Scram 411 gets a single piece seat and comes sans a rear luggage rack.
Royal Enfield offers the Scram in seven colour options: Graphite Red/Yellow/Blue, Blazing Black, Skyline Blue,White Flame and Silver Spirit.
Royal Enfield has launched the Scram 411 in India and it competes against the likes of Yezdi Scrambler and the Yezdi Adventure as well. Moreover, it’s also an affordable alternative to the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

It’s overall a very good bike, kind of an all-rounder. It’s good for any kind of road or terrain. The cons I would like to mention are its weight and top-end performance. However, you don’t feel its weight once you are on it. About the top end, it’s not made for it. But one can feel a lack of power on highways. A tubeless option would have added to its pros. 28k + and still going good so far.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is a rugged yet urban-friendly scrambler with a 411cc engine, smooth handling, and retro-modern charm. Perfect for city commutes and light off-road adventures, it combines style, comfort, and versatility. Affordable, but lacks advanced features and a sixth gear. A solid choice for adventure enthusiasts on a budget!

Best engine for price

Pros: Surely underrated big torque model. Worth the price. Feeling very comfortable on long rides. Providing 35 kms at highways and min 22 on streets. Cons: stock ceat tyre life is up to 13k kms. The gear shifter getting hard after 10k kms. Defect only on my bike: The engine shuts after riding 42 km at full stretch and have to wait 30 minutes to cool the engine to start again

The Bike's look is eye-catching

I own a Graphite Blue Scram 411. It's been more than 6 months since I am riding this bike and so far, it has been a wonder. I'm 6' tall and the bike is the perfect height for me as well as the body. The Bike's look is eye-catching and the riding experience is totally worth the price. As for the mileage, it gives 29-30 kmpl ( For those who think it's low, it's what you should expect otherwise buy a normal bike). One more noteworthy thing is. While riding on a rough road ( holes and potty road), you won't feel a thing. Great suspension as compared to other bikes. U can use it for a long journey too. I'm being told that the mileage will slowly increase but so far I'm happy with what I have. One shitty thing is. They will give you the basic Royal Enfield helmet with the bike. Buy a good one. If you are considering to purchase this bike, go for it. You'll Love it. Just an honest review.

Engine noise
Paramesh
Royal Enfield Bikes - Engine Noise and Service IssuesOwning a Royal Enfield bike can be a mixed experience, and many enthusiasts have raised concerns about the brand's engine noise and service quality. One of the primary issues reported by Royal Enfield owners is the persistent engine noise, often described as a "tapped noise." This sound is not only annoying but also raises concerns about the engine's longevity and overall reliability. The iconic thump of the Royal Enfield, which many riders adore, seems to be overshadowed by this irritating noise, making the riding experience less enjoyable. Moreover, the service provided by Royal Enfield has been criticized by numerous customers. Many have complained about the unprofessional attitude of the service centers, lack of proper maintenance, and the inability to effectively resolve recurring issues. Despite multiple visits to the service centers, the engine noise problem often remains unaddressed, leaving owners frustrated and dissatisfied. The combination of these issues makes it challenging to recommend Royal Enfield bikes. The appeal of the brand, which is often tied to its vintage charm and robust build, is significantly diminished by these practical drawbacks. Potential buyers should weigh these concerns carefully before making a purchase. While the Royal Enfield's aesthetic and legacy are attractive, the consistent reports of engine noise and subpar service are significant drawbacks. For those considering a Royal Enfield, it might be wise to explore other options or wait until the company addresses these prevalent issues. Customer feedback suggests a need for the brand to improve its quality control and service standards significantly. Until then, the romantic idea of riding a Royal Enfield might remain just that – an idea better appreciated from afar rather than experienced firsthand.

Neither bad nor great!

I have owned this bike since July 2023. Big fan of Himalayan and that triggered me to buy this scram 411, because I was gonna use it for both city and long trips. First impressions were great and the bike did very well for the first 5000-7000kms within 3-4months. Then the issues started one by one because of poor service from RE. I can assure you that the RE service team will destroy your motorcycle and its condition. Currently, my motorcycle crossed 17k kms in 11 months and have changed both my tyres. I've been facing a wobbling issue since 9000kms and it's still there even after aligning wheels and spokes.

Be royal but do not buy royal enfield
Arhaan
Really disappointed with royal enfield.I had high hopes before buying this trash but only a month later it started to give me so many problems. At first, I faced a fork issue. Had a hard time handling the bike. I informed the employees of koper khairne hallmark's about that. And they told me this happens in scram 411 it's normal. And they solved this problem after 3 months. Then I faced the heating issue. Still heating issue is not resolved. I've been facing multiple issues with it can't write all of them here. I also faced an oil leakage issue in the engine. The last time when I gave my bike for servicing my chains pocket was fine at that time. The guys at the service center took my bike for 5 days. Now they are telling me that my chains pocket is wrecked. Literally disappointed.

Bike is ok but not impressive!!!!!
David Amos
Overall it's a great bike, and can handle all your needs. Whether it's city commute, long tours, or off-roading. Although you might need the bigger Himalayan for serious off-roading, scram 411 can handle most of it. The scram 411 should be more accessible for shorter riders as a result of the lower seat height, while the ground clearance is expected to be 200 mm, 20 mm less than the Himalayan.
