32 kmpl

Buying experience:
This is my second re bike. I had a meteor 350 which i took to ladakh in 2022 and although it performed well, i wanted an adventure bike. My height is 5'6" and the himalayan is bit tall for me and tad chunky for daily commutes. Scram 411 is perfect for me with same himalayan engine but seat height at 795mm due to smaller 19" front tyre (himalayan has 21" front tyre). It is also 10+ kg lighter than himalayan. I got the bike from nomadic showroom in pune within 15 days. I got the silver spirit color as i loved it more than others. The white and red one is also very eye catching.
Riding experience:
Have been using scram 411 for over 6 months now and i am very happy. I had meteor 350 but felt it to be bit heavier especially due to lower center of gravity and wanted a scrambler/adventure bike. Scram 411 is perfect for me for daily commute as well as highway and off-road trips. I recently completed spiti circuit on scram 411 and it performed exceptionally well. The seat height at 790mm and weight 180 kgs is very much suitable for me. I am 5'6" weighing 70kgs. The bike has same himalayan 411cc engine and though the gear box is bit clunky, you get used to it. People buying re bikes need to keep aside some of refined features other bike companies offer as re is a cult and at 60kmph the bike just becomes a part of your body. The bike is extremely stable on road even on rainy and off-road patches. The handling and maneuvering is very good.
Looks & performance:
Looks are very good and the colors are very appealing. The bike looks like a scrambler/adventure crossover. If you load the bike with accessories like top rack, fog lamps, crash guard with sliders, saddle/pannier stays then the bike looks even impressive and catches your attention. Many people on road have asked and enquired about my bike.
Servicing & maintenance:
I am still in free service period. So far servicing and maintenance has been hassle free.
Pros:
1. Shorter than himalayan so makes it better for short riders.
2. Lighter than himalayan so makes it easier to maneuver and good for city commute.
3. The head lamp turns with the handle unlike himalayan
Cons:
1. Not as off-road friendly as himalayan. Does off-roading but not as efficiently due to himalayan's 21" front wheel
2. Gear box feels clunky. Some times gear shifting is not as smooth as you can expect. (i am sure re will address this on its 450cc engine coming soon with himalayan 450)
3. Braking is bit iffy sometimes and rear brakes screech a bit when bike is new (this is reported by all customers) but the noise does fade away as you put on miles.

It’s overall a very good bike, kind of an all-rounder. It’s good for any kind of road or terrain. The cons I would like to mention are its weight and top-end performance. However, you don’t feel its weight once you are on it. About the top end, it’s not made for it. But one can feel a lack of power on highways. A tubeless option would have added to its pros.
28k + and still going good so far.

Pros: Surely underrated big torque model. Worth the price. Feeling very comfortable on long rides. Providing 35 kms at highways and min 22 on streets.
Cons: stock ceat tyre life is up to 13k kms. The gear shifter getting hard after 10k kms.

  • The Bike's look is eye-catching

I own a Graphite Blue Scram 411. It's been more than 6 months since I am riding this bike and so far, it has been a wonder. I'm 6' tall and the bike is the perfect height for me as well as the body. The Bike's look is eye-catching and the riding experience is totally worth the price. As for the mileage, it gives 29-30 kmpl ( For those who think it's low, it's what you should expect otherwise buy a normal bike).

One more noteworthy thing is. While riding on a rough road ( holes and potty road), you won't feel a thing. Great suspension as compared to other bikes. U can use it for a long journey too. I'm being told that the mileage will slowly increase but so far I'm happy with what I have.
One shitty thing is. They will give you the basic Royal Enfield helmet with the bike. Buy a good one.
If you are considering to purchase this bike, go for it. You'll Love it.
    Just an honest review.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is a good bike for daily use and touring. this bike gives good comfort while riding. the 411cc engine displacement and 24bhp of power gives is wonderful. the bike gives me around 31kmpl of average mileage in the city. I suggest this bike for touring and long rides because it has a lot of comfort built into it.

Royal Enfield Bikes - Engine Noise and Service Issues
Owning a Royal Enfield bike can be a mixed experience, and many enthusiasts have raised concerns about the brand's engine noise and service quality. One of the primary issues reported by Royal Enfield owners is the persistent engine noise, often described as a "tapped noise." This sound is not only annoying but also raises concerns about the engine's longevity and overall reliability. The iconic thump of the Royal Enfield, which many riders adore, seems to be overshadowed by this irritating noise, making the riding experience less enjoyable.
Moreover, the service provided by Royal Enfield has been criticized by numerous customers. Many have complained about the unprofessional attitude of the service centers, lack of proper maintenance, and the inability to effectively resolve recurring issues. Despite multiple visits to the service centers, the engine noise problem often remains unaddressed, leaving owners frustrated and dissatisfied.
The combination of these issues makes it challenging to recommend Royal Enfield bikes. The appeal of the brand, which is often tied to its vintage charm and robust build, is significantly diminished by these practical drawbacks. Potential buyers should weigh these concerns carefully before making a purchase. While the Royal Enfield's aesthetic and legacy are attractive, the consistent reports of engine noise and subpar service are significant drawbacks.
For those considering a Royal Enfield, it might be wise to explore other options or wait until the company addresses these prevalent issues. Customer feedback suggests a need for the brand to improve its quality control and service standards significantly. Until then, the romantic idea of riding a Royal Enfield might remain just that – an idea better appreciated from afar rather than experienced firsthand.

I have owned this bike since July 2023. Big fan of Himalayan and that triggered me to buy this scram 411, because I was gonna use it for both city and long trips. First impressions were great and the bike did very well for the first 5000-7000kms within 3-4months. Then the issues started one by one because of poor service from RE. I can assure you that the RE service team will destroy your motorcycle and its condition. Currently, my motorcycle crossed 17k kms in 11 months and have changed both my tyres. I've been facing a wobbling issue since 9000kms and it's still there even after aligning wheels and spokes.

  • The Bike's look is eye-catching

    Bhaskar Jyoti Nath

  • Awesome all rounder

    Bidyut N

It’s overall a very good bike, kind of an all-rounder. It’s good for any kind of road or terrain. The cons I would like to mention are its weight and top-end performance. However, you don’t feel its weight once you are on it. About the top end, it’s not made for it. But one can feel a lack of power on highways. A tubeless option would have added to its pros.
28k + and still going good so far.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is a rugged yet urban-friendly scrambler with a 411cc engine, smooth handling, and retro-modern charm. Perfect for city commutes and light off-road adventures, it combines style, comfort, and versatility. Affordable, but lacks advanced features and a sixth gear. A solid choice for adventure enthusiasts on a budget!
