Royal Enfield Scram 440

Royal Enfield unveiled the updated Scram in its 440 form. The bike is now called Scram 440 and gets aesthetic as well as mechanical changes. 

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 gets a round LED headlight and a single-pod instrument console. It features a digital-analogue console with an analogue readout for the speedometer, a digital inset for the tripmeter, and more. It also comes with switchable ABS. 
 

Royal Enfield has powered the Scram 440 with a 443c single-cylinder engine that makes 25.4bhp and 34Nm. It is linked to a new six-speed gearbox. The Scram 440 gets a revised chassis for an added payload of 5kg at the rear. 

The Scram 440 rides on telescopic front forks, and a monoshock, and gets a single-disc brake at both ends. The brakes are mounted on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel wrapped in CEAT tyres. The Scram 440 has an option of spoke wheels with tubbed tyres and alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
