About the Reviewer

Ridden for (If Owned)

15000+ km

Got mileage of

40 kmpl

Got the bike from the garage cafe in baga.
Comparing it to thunderbird 350, thunderbird x is more comfortable.
Suspension is rigid.
It is still one of the best looking royal enfield bikes.
Getting mileage of about 35 to 40 km/l.
The handlebar was short so I got a standard thunderbird handlebar.
Overall a great bike.
Now thunderbird is called a failed bike in the Indian market but you will not regret owning one.
Great value for money.

Tips for Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X

Use Motul 15W40 oil only.

This beast makes you attractive and it gives you the best riding posture which doesn't make you tired of riding it. Great for touring and the brand name says about this beauty at all. Cons can be not major but minor are RE gives you halogen indicators that are not much good but substitutes are available in aftermarket.

Love my Thunderbird 350 from every corner of my heart I bought it in June 2019, in West Midnapore. Love the balance in the curve cut. I love the roar at the 4th gear throttle. I love the posture of the seating. It is very comfortable for long rides. The handling of the scooter is very good. Love the way people stare at my cruiser bike. I was excited after Lockdown with Meteor news rather than on test drive experience as Meteor is shorter than my beloved cruiser. Met with an accident & my bike took it all on her leaving me scratchless.

I have been using this bike since Oct 2018, and I am really delighted and love to ride this bike all the time. Sometimes I feel too excited when I ride this bike in the crowd and during leisure rides when people have a look at my bike. I have ridden almost 28000 km, and still, it looks like a showroom vehicle.

Owning a Bullet is a dream come true, I had a wonderful time riding it, it has a stunning look, and with roving red, it looks more beautiful. To date, normal service has been done on Bullet.
I have been away from home for quite a while for which I am unable to ride it but I love it very much, You will enjoy riding it. thanks to the makers and team Royal Enfield.

I lover very much interested in this 350X bcoz previously I used Bullet Electra.
I have been using this bike last 3 years, regularly facing vibration issues, and the speedometer fuel gauge not working properly Even 2times service attended at the RE service center still has not settled this above-listed problem.
So I am not suggesting this bike.

The worst bike I have used in my life, I started with a yamaha rxg 1999-2014 moved to tvs-fiero then tbts .
Royal Enfield is the worst manufacturer of the 3, with constant failures, and replacement of parts.
I am from a mech background and can understand the grade of steel hardness etc. Royal Enfield is the worst quality part in terms of material. Be it chassis engine electricals forks/shocks every department.
I don't know how many times the center stand has been welded. Changed wiring harness once battery once in 3 yrs tank once fork seals more than 5 times so its a piece of cheap quality junk parts which works well at the beginning.

A horror purchase. Own the bike for 5 years but problems began from the first year itself. Wheel chromes are very poor in quality and are peeling off easily. The meter stopped working within a year itself, wherein the meter lights fail out during monsoons. Wheel chain is a horror in this bike. I have had to replace it already 4 times in 5 years. The Dipper flash button failed after the first monsoon itself. Requires a lot of maintenance. Would recommend staying away from this vehicle instead opt for a yamaha make if you feel ok with this type of mileage. Too costly against the quality of material used to make this bike. Absolute disaster. Forcibly giving 1 star too.

One Of The Best Bikes I've Ever Owned And Seen In the Indian Market.

I purchased this bike on 30 .01.2019. I never felt any trouble of any kind in this byke. The riding experience is superb. On the highway, I feel comfort and in town parking sometimes makes me disturbed due to its weight. Looks really stunning. The service center is really good. I have no negative experience with this bike. I love my bike.

This beast makes you attractive and it gives you the best riding posture which doesn't make you tired of riding it. Great for touring and the brand name says about this beauty at all. Cons can be not major but minor are RE gives you halogen indicators that are not much good but substitutes are available in aftermarket.

Change the oil right after 2500 kms for great engine health. You should apply chain lube to prevent rusting and also apply wax on the shiny parts for the best looks and also it gives you protection from the UV rays.

Always use Motul 4TPLUS as engine oil on for better performance , lube your chain periodically, have some sponge fix on your seat for better longer rides, for better Engine performance, speed & accelerations shift gears as needed with no unnecessary throttle 1st gear till 10-15km 2nd gear till 40-45km 3rd gear 60-65km 4th gear 80-90 & 5th gear you can vrooom (Safety First), Leg guard must it saves from engine hit if any accident, keep the silencer stock to enjoy most decent & elegant ride with pride... It was the best Cruiser, saddened as it has been discontinued but still parts are easily available everywhere. Loved this Bike .... MIne is of Red tank & rest in black which makes it more charming.

The Thunderbird 350X is a fantastic motorcycle. I've owned one for a year now, and I've had a great experience with it. The bike's design is a perfect blend of classic and modern, and the matte finish adds a touch of sophistication. So overall experience is awesome, value for money, and the person will not regret it, according to price point of view.
