If you are serious about going for weekend rides . Do not buy any royal enfileds

royal enfield sucks big time.

"Leave home" - but with a fear that it might stop anywhere .

Dont get me wrong , but royal enfields are the most unreliable bikes on indian roads.. Just because they have 350cc and 500cc engine doenst mean they are good .

I have a royal enfield thunderbird 2010 at home and i always get scared to go for long rides .

Its almost 3 years old now and run 45000+ km.

Speedometer cable keeps breaking , throttle cable keeps breaking very often 500-1000km , clutch cable keeps breaking every 100 -200 km ,oil leaks ,

tappet sounds ,

once my self start got jammed while riding from mangalore-bangalore . And it jammed the kicker too . I had to hire a tempo to get it across . I dont know if the designer was stoned or had a fight with his wife before he designed the system !!! .

Cant handle rains . The bike doesnt start once its drenched .

I can go on with the problems ..

Add all this and the amount of time you spend with a half knowledged "royal enfiled" mechanics . Well. Lets just say that this bike is just bull-shit! .

This bike is just not practical .

May be a good timepass , trying to fix it half of the year to go for a 100km ride, while you are getting retired and have a huge amount of money in your bank account to drain it on crappy parts for this bull-shit! .

Trust me .. I had better experince with my old yamaha rx-100 and old hero honda cbz .

Pros

only 350 cc engine which u get for this price

cons

most unreliable bike in india.

  • Very comfortable seats for rider and pillion

    1. Very comfortable seats for rider and pillion. The riding position is also great with stretched arms.
    2. Includes an inbuilt backrest for the pillion.
    3. Matte black/stone color. Now that is what I am talking about being in a different league.
    4. Fancy gadgets give the feel of an upmarket cruiser. Twin disk brakes, rear adjustable gas shocks, projector headlamps, removable seats, larger fuel tank, and digital console.

I have been using TB350 for many years for Long Distance Riding. Multiple times I have done Mumbai-Goa on TB. I just love Riding TB, it's an amazing machine. Very comfortable and reliable built quality. The only issue is spoke wheels, it's a big problem when it's punctured. Changing to mag wheels and using tubeless tires are highly recommended while going for long-distance riding.

Owned it for about 7 years, and had many amazing experiences and memories with it. I previously owned a Bajaj Avenger and a Yamaha rx100. After a while, I wanted a stronger and more reliable bike. Only took it to service twice and that too only for minor issues. Other than that, it accelerates very well and sounds like a beast.

Cool to ride. The braking could have been better! puncture of the rear tyre though not frequent is a big headache! skids if brakes are applied urgently. Good for daily commutes as well as long rides. Doesn't heat up too much in traffic. Very comfortable riding position. Not very expensive for maintenance. Overall a good bike to own!

    1. Buying experience:- had to wait 1.5 months.. Frustrating
    2. Riding experience:- when I bought it 7 yrs ago, it was clearly a great machine, but as of now, many other bikes are available for long and comfortable cruising
    3. Looks:- look is a subjective thing... Everyone has different tastes. Me, I still love its looks.
    4. Performance and maintenance:- performance is great, but royal enfield demands great care and frequent service and repairs as its company-suggested service interval is every 3000kms or 3 months (whichever is earlier)
    5. Pros:- great tourer, ultimate riding comfort, great mileage (mine is 35-42 in the city and 40-45 on the highway)
Cons:- needs frequent service and repairs but parts are easily available everywhere, too much vibration when compared to other bikes.

    It's huge!!!
If you are huge :) so this is for you.
It's a great bike for touring and showcasing.
I don't recommend it for a daily commute and not useful for frequent rides in the city, also you will be frustrated while riding in traffic due to its weight and slow movement of the traffic.
And keep in mind that it requires regular servicing.

    Lakshmipathi Reddy

    1. Buying experience is good
    2. Riding experience is ok
    3. Bike looks very good, but performance is very bad
    4. This is a very fraud service which gives all authorized royal service centers, simply they will charge this I have checked all most all bangalore service centers, and most frequently I am facing puncture people are not available anywhere, generally other bikes everywhere we can get it ready immediately but for this bike people not even ready to take this bikes for a puncture, and each and every part very costly, we can easily maintain one car for this expenses, so people beware of this royal Enfield bikes.
    5. Above I have mentioned everything
    No good in this vehicle.

  • Maintenance is very costly

  • Very comfortable seats for rider and pillion

    Krish Patni

  • TB-The Beast..

    Pradeep Maurya

I have been using TB350 for many years for Long Distance Riding. Multiple times I have done Mumbai-Goa on TB. I just love Riding TB, it's an amazing machine. Very comfortable and reliable built quality. The only issue is spoke wheels, it's a big problem when it's punctured. Changing to mag wheels and using tubeless tires are highly recommended while going for long-distance riding.

Very good superbike, with amazing features, a riding experience, and service support very good. If you ride for a long drive with just awesome, already took for the long drive from Agra to Jaipur, Jaipur to Delhi so many times, daily good experience, you have to care for this bike because maintenance cost is a little bit more in comparison with others.

  • Strong Bike for a Strong Man

    Venkat Reddy

Owned it for about 7 years, and had many amazing experiences and memories with it. I previously owned a Bajaj Avenger and a Yamaha rx100. After a while, I wanted a stronger and more reliable bike. Only took it to service twice and that too only for minor issues. Other than that, it accelerates very well and sounds like a beast.

    Girish Dedhe

Cool to ride. The braking could have been better! puncture of the rear tyre though not frequent is a big headache! skids if brakes are applied urgently. Good for daily commutes as well as long rides. Doesn't heat up too much in traffic. Very comfortable riding position. Not very expensive for maintenance. Overall a good bike to own!
