15000+ km

Got mileage of

48 kmpl

I brought it for my sister and for myself too. It has great power, comfortable sitting, the best shock absorbers, is lightest to be handled, and has the largest under seat storage. The engine, mileage, and pickup are good. It doesn't require any maintenance apart from engine oil. No words and just in case of performance of the bike is very good and excellent.

For 2 months engine gets shut down while running, being is the most dangerous situation, and since then driving at the left side edge anticipating a break at any time, spent more than 4k on servicing and spare part replacement, but the issue still continues.
    Never recommend this to anyone.
Post-sales service people are arrogant - Bangalore.

  • My review about one of the most powerful scooter in the Indian market

    Karan Shah

The scooter was bought by my dad when I was a kid back in 2015, I had visited the showroom with him & the showroom staff was kind enough to explain to my dad all the features of the vehicle & they also complimented us with coffee & snacks. Then my dad asked for the test ride & they were very kind, and they got the vehicle ready for it, the words after this are from my dad: the first impressions were: the vehicle was smooth, the power was amazing & even the suspensions were as per my dad's taste, it was amazing for daily city rides & overall it was a good combo. Suzuki, as we all know has been an amazing company & has improved over the years. The scooter is one of the best in its 125 cc segment with good power & grunt. The look of the scooter is very good & is loved by Indians a lot. Also, the other reason for going for a suzuki scooter was because of its reliability. It was overall a very good package for the family & hence my father decided to go for it & he booked the scooter on the same day. The service costs as well as the maintenance costs aren't much & are perfect for a middle-class family to own. There are pros and cons to everything in this world, and so is this scooter :
    Pros :
    Good design & body language
    Fuel efficient
    Powerful japanese 125 engine
Nd a few others discussed above
    Cons:
Drum brakes(no option for disc ones)
    Tubed tyres
    No drl's
A full-size helmet can't be accommodated in the boot
No external fuel filler (now available in the latest-gen access 125)
So this was all from my pov, hope you liked the review

  • Self start and starting problem. Worst for elders

    Khalid

It gives the very worst experience with self-start. It's not good for elders or you have to keep visiting the showroom for self-start problems. I purchased this bike last year and since I complained so many times about self start problem and they keep saying the battery was damaged. I changed batteries more than 2 times last one year and still the same problem. First of all, how is that battery getting damaged every 6 months or do we have to spend money on batteries every 6 month.

  • Very good performance and comfort

    Indrajit Ghanwat

I purchased access 125 in the year 2012 and still its performance is very good. I always use power petrol for the best mileage. I always get milage of -48 km per liter in a high speed 30-60 km/hr in low traffic areas.
But at the low speed, I get a mileage of 42km per liter, a low speed of 0-30 km/hr in traffic and city areas.
scooter riding is very comfortable than other vehicles.
Maintenance is very low but most local mechanics avoid repairing scooters.
Overall scooty is best for daily use traveling at office.

  • Most thrilling gearless scooter

    Vishesh Kumar

I purchased suzuki access in 2016. While getting the scooter i narrowed down my options to honda activa, tvs jupiter & suzuki access. I visited the dealerships & examined all the scooters, i discarded honda activa because of less boot capacity, small fuel tank & lack of telescopic front suspension & the boot couldn't even accommodate a full-size helmet, the reason i went for access was more powerful 125cc motor & a comfortable sitting position according to my height. I just went to the dealership there was no waiting period & i purchased the special edition model in white colour with brown colour dashboard, tan coloured seat & chrome rear view mirrors. I got free accessories from the dealership including a side stand, floor mat, side footrest & full-body protection bars. The scooter cost me 57000 rupees on-road which i think was a great deal. Moving on to the looks of the scooter, although it is a subjective thing but i do think it looks much better than its competitors because of more use of chrome on its body it doesn't look overdone & looks subtle especially th e chrome cover on the exhaust, grab handle for the pillion & those beautiful looking round shaped chrome mirrors. Moving on to the seat it is fairly comfortable & the riding posture is the best in access with comparison to its rivals. Moving on to performance it is faster than all other gearless scooters because of the bigger engine & lighter weight due to fibre body. I have driven my access 30000 kilometres till the date & moving on to the fuel economy in the city i get around 40 kmpl even after rash driving which i think is good. One of the most convenient features is that i can access the boot from the ignition switch only so i don't need to remove the key it in any other place to open the boot, one other positive point is that the fuel tank is larger than other scooters at 6.5 litres whereas others have 5.5 litres. I do feel ride is a bit stiff & the exhaust makes more noise than other gearless scooters. The after-sales service provided by suzuki is good, service of the scooter costs around 700 rupees including the labour cost, the staff is polite & you get your vehicle within 3 hours whereas if you have an activa the guys at honda take almost one complete day because of more people owning activa & apparently there is more crowd in honda service centres. The instrument cluster gets an analogue speedometer, odometer & fuel indicator, the theme of the instrument cluster is really cool in special edition comprising of white, green & brown colour. Moving on to pros 1) more performance due to bigger engine 2) brown dashboard looks beautiful 3) spacious & well-shaped boot 4) large fuel tank 5) boot can be opened from ignition keyhole mentioning the cons 1) mileage is a bit less because of the bigger engine 2) fibre body is more prone to damage than metal body 3) breaks can be improved. In conclusion, i would like to say that i'm completely satisfied by suzuki access & i'll recommend it to everyone especially those who want a bit more faster gearless scooter.

  • Lots of real problem

    Mohamed Arif

I bought suzuki access 125cc on 31 jan 2020. Since i bought this scooter, i faced all kinds of problems like won't start (kick start), self-starts not working most of the time. Some strange noise coming from the engine sound like three-wheeler auto. On 4th feb 2020 worn start and the reason is accelerator cable disconnected. On 9th feb 2020 didn't started again the reason in carburetor failure. On 14th feb 2020 late start with a strange noise from the engine. Then i found that the dealer had sold me the demo scooter. I am a big fan of suzuki motors. Those kinds of a bad experience i am totally disappointed with suzuki. Customer care response is very worst.

  • A sturdy bike suitable for women

    Asma Hasan

I purchased this bike for my personal use. I had few choices and i wanted to go for the best bike in my view. I tried checking for reviews but it wasn't much help. Price & technology wise, most scooters were almost the same. Finally, it came down to activa, access & scooty. While activa was recommended by many, i chose access. This bike has been my steady companion for the past seven years. Never broke down, mileage is good, electrical equipment works fine, battery lasted really long till now, even the tyres are still good after nearly 40,000 kms. Bike has good space under the seat, the seat itself is comfortable. However, front shocks could have been better. This bike can have some additional features like a hand-brake or something to keep the vehicle from sliding front or back when engine is switched off, it would be really handy for women. Ladies can choose this bike confidently for its reliability & rock-solid performance.

    Satish

For 2 months engine gets shut down while running, being is the most dangerous situation, and since then driving at the left side edge anticipating a break at any time, spent more than 4k on servicing and spare part replacement, but the issue still continues.
    Never recommend this to anyone.
Post-sales service people are arrogant - Bangalore.
