Very poor service center. Bike big problem creates.. Engine sound over. But the driving style is good. Service cost high price in the service center. This bike uses plastic material. The driving proses good. Service working proven low this bike price value over. This bike has only used for one or two years only. Maintenance and service are very poor.

Good personal and family scooter

Buying experience:Though my first visit wasn't all that good, i was in the showroom just about 15 minutes to closure on a saturday where i was not even considered attended to, finally, i was told if i could come next, i went there again next saturday, the treatment was very good, the staff were professional and courteous, well knowledge about the product and on how to sell to a customer. I was there for access but decided to buy burgman due to the slightly larger/lengthier seat and the fact that there weren't many burgman's on the road (the feeling of a unique vehicle). After using for more than 15k kilometers in about 19 months (i usually clock around 1200-1300 km per month but because of wfh for few months last year, the vehicle hasn't clocked over 20k yet). Riding experience:I will start off with the negative, this could be specific to my unit alone, this is about the front suspension, whenever i hit a pothole or a speed breaker, it took them very abruptly, an audible noise would come, though that bump never sends any shocks to the arms/shoulders, it does cause an uneasy feeling. The service centre would fix that but it will be back in about 400-500 kms, this is one issue i keep having the service centre fix. Then i have learned to live with it, i exercise extra attention to make sure the vehicle is as slow as possible to ride over it.The cranking noise is not all that pleasant especially now the silent start has become a norm with the competitors. The fit and finish is good, though there are some panel gaps the overall fit and finish feels upto the mark (even after more than a year), and there isn't any unnecessary noise. Compared to the activa i had, the engine noise i hear when i am driving at over 60 km/h is very minimal. This is my 4th scooter after a scooty pep+ and couple of activas (and a unicorn dazzler) burgman is definitely a class above these scooters, be it the comfort, the confidence it inspires while clocking >65 km/h, the silent nature of the exhaust, maneuverability in traffic - it feels very light and nimble.Looks:I never liked the look of burgman from the tail whenever i saw it on road but once i started using it it grew upon me, it is a polar opposite to the front look but that minimal approach just caught upto me as a grew fonder with the overall looks of the scooter. Many who haven't seen this scooter in our locality were even asking if it's a ev. In my perspective, it is one of the best looking scooters - evs included.Performance:Off the blocks clocking 40 km/h is pretty easy and even touching 60-65 too isn't going to take much time, the acceleration is gradual and i have never felt the power delivery is too high or too low.Crawling at less than 10 kmph in traffic never required for me to put my foot down for balancing if i am alone, only with a pillion rider, at times, i have felt that i need to put at least one foot down as an insurance.Moving past the early 70s in the speedo to late eighties is where i feel it takes more time in my experience - i used to using speed 97 when its price was less than inr 120 per litre in December 2020-march 2021, the vehicle was new as well, i bought mine in December 2020, during those times i never felt a lag in the vehicle gaining speed until it was late 90s in the speedo, now i use indian oil's xp premium. While i am not a rash driver, i do like to push the throttle to the maximum on open highways and during the late nights in the city, there were numerous occasions where i had clocked over 3 digits, it takes some time and distance if i am all alone in the bike but with a pillion rider (almost always my wife), 3 digits on the speedo is not that difficult, we have clocked 107 kmph at least 5 times and stayed there for at least 10 minutes.Only when the speedo is more than 85 i would feel the floorboard vibrate slightly, never to the level of discomfort or distraction.I usually get a return of 50-54 km/l. There were times when i even got 55+ km/l on few occasions.Breaking definitely needs more bite, though hard breaking doesn't throw the bike off, it does not slowdown the vehicle quick enough, though i have never bit any vehicle or people, i feel the breaks are underpowered.I have never experienced the vehicle slip, be it rain or muddy road, the vehicle is sure footed.Lighting is bit of both yes and no - i always prefer low beam - high beam is not focused, it throws more of spread light, so it doesn't illuminate that powerfully (i hate when the incoming traffic in roads/streets has their vehicle lit with high beam which blocks our view in front and our vehicles high beam isn't good enough to make the incoming rider to dim their light). The low beam is good enough. In complete dark high beam is very good to cover a good distance, therefore, i can continue to ride in the same speed the road/street would usually allow).I have never felt tired after being on the bike, even after an hour - you know the city (Chennai) - no body aches. In the case of activas i used, after 30+ minutes, a break of at least couple of minutes were needed, i would just get off the vehicle and stand or just walk around the bike :)Servicing and maintenanceThe local service centre (jain suzuki, pallavaram, Chennai) has always been very supportive, they listen to all that we have to tell them and fix them. I had one another issue - when cruising between speeds of 39 - 47 there were vibrations felt in the floorboard and at times in the handlebar as well, when i brought this to the attention of the service centre they fixed it permanently and i have never felt issue never again. If i give my vehicle for servicing before 9.30 am, usually i get the vehicle back by 3.30 pm on the same day. The cost of the spares are relatively cheap as well. I once accidentally dropped the vehicle, thinking i had put the side stand, i got off and it fell breaking the rearview mirror, it cost just inr 116 and they fixed it as well for me.Pros:If you had read this far you would have figured that i am enjoying ownership of this vehicle.A very good family scooter - i had actually installed a kid seat as well.A very good personal scooter Great looksPlenty of storage spacePlenty of seat space with adequate thigh support.Good mileageEnough power in hand when needed for an overtake (in city traffic).High beam in pitch dark is quite good as it covers a good amount of distance.Cons:The highbeam is not all that powerful (when the oncoming vehicle is on highbeam, the low beam of my vehicle isn't enough for me to see the raid ahead, highbeam isn't powerful enough to make the other driver dim their light).Front suspension should have been better (possibility is that this is specific to my unit alone).Break needs more bite.Cranking noise when one starts the scooter.

Tips for other riders
Take vehicle to service centre when the display shows "Oil change", do that within 500 kms after the display started showing this message and get it checked for everything. Use Nitrogen air for better comfort.
