Suzuki SlingShot Plus Summary

The Suzuki SlingShot Plus is a 125cc commuter motorcycle which was launched in January 2011, as an add on variant to the standard SlingShot. The motorcycle is based on the now defunct Suzuki Zeus and slots in between the Hayate and the GS150R. The SlingShot is currently available in two variants – SEU and SCD.

The Suzuki SlingShot Plus is powered by a four-stroke 124cc engine which produces 8.5bhp and 10Nm of torque. The air-cooled engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox with a wet multiplate clutch.

The fuel tank and overall styling of the SlingShot Plus is very similar to the Zeus, though it gets a different headlamp unit. Except for the fuel tank, the bike has a black theme over the frame, exhaust and alloys, which make it stand out. The bike is equipped with a front disc brake, an electric starter, preload adjustable rear suspension and a gear position indicator.

The Suzuki SlingShot Plus is available in four paint schemes - glass sparkle black-red graphic, glass sparkle black-blue graphic, candy antares red and pearl mirage white. It goes up against a host of other 125cc commuter bikes like Hero Glamour, TVS Phoenix and the Honda CB Shine.

      I bought suzuki slingshot plus 2014 bike for it's look, after 3yrs bike started problem but i don't no what happened i showed to local mechanic but not satisfied after that i used it to ride it along to 3yrs the bike started fully problem then i went to showroom there i got meet to zameer head machine of suzuki showroom he told give me one day i will check n solve the problem i told him only 4 to 5 problem but he repaired my bike n gave me like a new bike i was surprised and shocked and i am loving my ride everyday and now i am going mileage of 60kmpl so i request all of you for any problem visit to suzuki showroom for better results because they r the mechanic for there brand vehicles thank you.

      I purchased this bike because i was getting extra discount for employees of suzuki. Riding is somewhat ok. Look is superb especially tank sides are pretty . Performance is good but it vibrates much at high speed .Disc brakes are effective .Service cost is minimal somewhat around 1000- 1200 / yr at authorized service centre. Spare parts are always used of gsx150 or hayate such as disc pad , brake shoes .Cons : vibrates much more :seat height is more as compared to other bikes of it's segment.

      Very poor quality bike. Very disgusting bike. Worst money. Very noisy. Spare parts does not have longevity. Very poor quality suspension system. Spare parts rate is very high. Overall maintenance cost very high. Service is also very high. Spare parts are not available all time. Not good, never buy this bike

      Nice commuter bike but average mileage smooth ride spare availability is rare but no voice. It is a wonderful bike with excellent performance and i ride more than 3 years. First of all why i did bought this vehicle because of the only one goodwill of the suzuki company. I like almost of suzuki's Indian bikes. All are excellent bikes such as gs150, gixxer etc.I like slingshot's rear light view and look, design and that's' emblem on the petrol tank. If you gonna to buy a commuter bike. Then go to buy suzki's slingshot. Best commuter bike on city traffic ride...

      Best bike for mileage and low cost maintenance. I love this bike a lot but planned to buy new bike so selling it at very low cost. This bike can help you save your money in terms of everything. Don't have to bother much on it's maintenance.Because it's always be maintained by default. However still recommend to do the service for every 6 months it looks brand new.

      Very worst experience with this bike. I feel very sad with this one. It's my first bike , but i feel many more day why i bought it . Many more problems like carburetor failure, spare parts availability, worst bike dealers and automatically getting off when we riding. I'm totally disappoint with the suzuki products.I thought here after should not buy the suzuki vehicles .

      Suzuki bole to refinement

      1. Bought the bike on my cousin brother's birthday. As i entered into 10th std.

      The bike rides like a fish swims in water, super smooth and refined. It just cuts kilometres very rapidly and joyfully. The exhaust note is also nice base and has the grunt. Looks are also killer in 125cc market. Servicing is top class at suzuki!! maintenance might be a problem as spare parts are a bit expensive and not easily available all the time. But the quality of the parts is really good!!

      Pros:

      1. Refinement

      2.Mileage 45 to 50kmpl

      3.Pickup

      4.Exhaust note.

      5.Looks.

      Cons:

      1.Spare parts

      2. Vibrations after 70kmph

      3. Front cowl (it gets easily cracked when the bike falls)

      4.Headlight.(the illumination is really not that great)

      Change oil after every 2000kms and spark plug after every 3000kms. Use branded oil and change oil filter whenever you change engine oil.

      Very poor quality bike..Everything is poor like parts. Very worst driving experience.. Not comfortable. Very noisy. Maintenance cost high. Parts rate is also high. Parts not available in market. Poor quality parts. Never buy this bike. It is better to buy hero cd delux. I cant express how worst bike is. Very poor shock absorber. This is not a shock proof. Bike gets jump.

      Disappointed... Not good bike... Only nice look

      This experience after 4 yrs. This bike is not comfortable while riding for a kilometer because it has used more fiber and it is little noisy. Secondly, it's average is very bad it gives only 40-45 km/ltr. Third, its suspension not good it jumps on speed breaker . Finally? it has much maintenance.

      Therefore i would like to suggest, don't think about at least this bike, prior to buy another suzuki bike also check its review
