Styling, design, featuresSuzukis aren’t going to win beauty pageants except for their few Superbikes. In this case, the front is better than the rear with the beak as the most attractive element.I feel this bike should have been just named SX250 rather than adding V-strom, which kind of dilutes the pedigree of the bigger V-strom. I was initially of the opinion that this contraption is only meant for cost-conscious countries like India, was surprised that the same model has been launched in Australia as well in 2023. Twin-cylinder engine model exists in Europe. Although that model may not make the cut for the V-strom badge, however, it at least has a twin-cylinder engine. Many aspects have been carried over from 250cc Suzuki siblings. Part sharing is good in the platform, however, Suzuki India should have worked on both suspensions. Getting the ADV look is correct. However, the kind of roads that Indian cities have now mandate plusher suspension..

The buying experience was decent. Although, the showroom didn't give me a good deal and hadn't completed the promises still I was in love with the bike so I purchased it from them anyway. Riding experience is the ultimate to date. I have ridden 1700km and done my first service. I am getting good mileage, did an 800 km return trip with luggage and it was a comfortable ride both for rider and the pillion. Looks are awesome. Many eyes turn around when the bike passes or in a parking lot. It gives a big bike feel. Servicing is an area that is debatable. I did my first service but I think Suzuki's service centers need improvements. I have read reviews about Suzuki's service centers and I felt those are pretty true. However, the dealer is renowned and premium in my city so their customer service is good and responsive. Handling ( except left-hand side pulling, which has a solution but my service center does not know). Mileage, Seat comfort, and Headlight (compared to others in the segment) look very good. No heating issue. Maintenance cost. Need more initial torq. Side mirrors. The visor is a bit small. The exhaust note and its position bit awkward. The horn is loud but very scootish sound. The headlight throw is a bit awkward. The hazard light is missing. It should be included as it is a touring machine. After-sales service.

Suzuki v-strom sx review

This bike is very close to my heart. The suzuki v-strom sx looks like a proper adv. It has all the dimensions and characteristics required to be classified as a bike meant for the long haul, be it on the road or off it. Take one glance and you’re immediately reminded of its bigger siblings, the v-strom 650 xt and the bigger 1050 albeit in a significantly smaller package. Look closer and you will start to see elements of the bike that it is based on — the gixxer 250. The headlight, the engine, the brake setup. The tail light of the bike and the majority of the tail section resemble that of the previous generation of the gixxer 150. Coming back to the adv bit, the bike has a proper front fairing with a relatively tall non-adjustable windscreen that does a good job of deflecting wind away from the rider. There’s a wide handlebar which gets plastic knuckle guards, a comfortable, roomy seat, and crucially for the adv formula a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. In terms of colour schemes, you have three to choose from. Black, the orange that I tested and the yellow, which makes the bike look the most like a bonafide v-strom.
