Techo Electra Emerge Summary

The Emerge is an electric scooter from Pune-based start-up Techno Electra. The scooter has a curvy European design language that is further accentuated with the use of chrome bezel for the headlamp, LED turn indicators and LED DRLs. The scooter is available with the choice of three colour shades yellow, red and black.

The Emerge uses a rigid tubular chassis and is powered by a 250 Watt BDLC motor that draws its power from a 48V 28Ah lithium-ion battery. The battery takes around 4-5 hours for a full charge following to which is claimed by the manufacturer to provide a range of 70-80 km. The Emerge is certified by ARAI and comes with several features like a centre locking system, LCD digital speedometer, and mobile charging USB port. It also comes with a forward-neutral-reverse switch.

For cycle parts, the e-scooter is suspended by telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers for the rear. Braking is taken care by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake for the rear. The scooter rides on 10-inch tubeless tyres and has a ground clearance of 150mm.

Techo Electra Emerge Review

  • Good Things

    • Modern retro styling
    • Gets reverse mode
    • Equipped with USB charging point
  • Could be Better

    • Poor sales, service reach
    • Overall quality isn’t great
    • Poor brand recall

BikeWale's Take

The Emerge is an entry-level electric scooter from Techo Electra that sports modern retro styling. It churns out good performance and is loaded with decent features. But the company isn’t known and has hardly any retail presence in the country.

      Sandy

Worst scooter, worst company, never buy this product, all china products, and pathetic products quality. Kindly don’t even think to buy this cheap and worst ev, I had purchased it at a very high cost. This company does not have any service person. The owner is the worst and most pathetic person. Doesn’t have manners or how to talk with customers. They don’t provide me with any part. The bike started mcb and battery heating issues on the second day.

Servicing and maintenance are very low cost. At present time people choose affordable options only for electric bikes and scooty. It's good for students. Servicing and maintenance are easy.

Good product. Very cooperative team. Keep it up. Affordable price. Techo Electra is the best company for electric vehicles. Many discounts are available. Expertise in their field was ecstatic. I'll be suggesting it to my friends and acquaintances. Amazing range of products and highly professional staff to help you make informed decisions.

Ev tech electra scooter worst quality

      Milind

Worst service back up after sale . My scooter is in breakdown condition from last one month . Continuously doing follow-up mcb heating wires melting no one is giving response ether dealer or company people. Waste of money.Sent several e mails to both dealer and company even to owner also but no response from any one . Dealer changed mcb 3 times but still problem is there they are doing experiments on my scooters no technically qualified person visited or handled .
