Tork Motors has launched the new Kratos electric motorcycle in the Indian market to rival the likes of Revolt RV400. The new Tork Kratos will be sold in two variants – Standard and R and will be available across India in a phased manner. In the first phase, this electric motorcycle will be available in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Delhi.
The Tork Kratos features a naked roadster styling that is complemented by a triangular-shaped headlight, split-type seat, and two-piece pillion grab rails. The base model is available in a white colour option while the R variant is listed in four choices – white, blue, red, and black.
The electric motor on the base model makes a peak power output of 7.5kW or 10.05bhp and a maximum torque of 28Nm. The R variant, on the other hand, makes a relatively higher power output of 9kW or 12.06bhp and peak torque of 38Nm. The 0-40kmph acceleration time for the base model is four seconds while its maximum speed is rated at 100kmph. The R variant boasts a top speed of 105kmph and a 0-40kmph acceleration time of 3.5 seconds.
The 4kWH, IP67 certified, lithium-ion battery pack on both variants is claimed to deliver an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 180km. The company claims a real-life range of 120km per charge for both motorcycles. The R variant also benefits from fast charging capabilities, and Tork Motors claims 0-80 per cent recharging in one hour.
Standard features on both variants include full-LED lighting, a fully-digital instrument cluster, multiple ride modes, regenerative braking, reverse mode, mobile connectivity, USB charging, anti-theft, front storage box, and OTA updates among others. The premium R variant further benefits from fast charging, free access to the charging network for two years, geofencing, find my vehicle, motor walk assist, crash alert, track mode, and smart charge analysis.
The motorcycle is built around a steel trellis frame that uses the battery pack as a stressed member. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. The anchoring power comes from single discs on both ends while the safety net includes CBS tech.

I found this bike very useless. All the praise the company gives about the bike is wrong. Therefore anyone buying this bike can have a unsafe buy .The service is so bad that I can't even talk to you whatever is told on you tube is all wrong After using it for 2 month the battery backup has reduced by 20 kms .If you do not get any response after complaining in the service centre what is the benefit it you have to ride a bike like a bicycle. Seeing this review of mine you should not buy this bike otherwise you will be left with nothing except regret .Therefore you people should not buy this bike

Bad service

When I bought the bike, the showroom person told to your village every month for service, and today it's been 4 months but no one has come and when I call then they say they will call me and then they come and if I called showroom, they say that the servicing is in company scope. Very bad service after sale. Before purchasing a very good service, once you purchase it, there will be no support.

Very poor after sell service

Very poor after-sale service. They depend on Pune, The Engineer will come from Pune If any defeats in parts occur again it will come from Pune which takes almost a month. Battery and battery management systems get defeated only after 2000 km of ride. Very unproven product. Deals say they are dependent on Pune.

Reviews of the Kratos eV bike have been conflicting; some have praised its range and performance, while others have criticized its build quality and the tendency to overheat. The advantages are outlined as follows:Advantages:Impressive Range: Several users report that in sports mode, they can achieve a real-world range of approximately 95–100 kilometers on a single charge, which is more than the 90 kilometers that the business claims. It is therefore appropriate for lengthy commutes.Peppy Performance: The electric motor of the Kratos provides smooth power delivery and quick acceleration, which riders find appealing.Comfortable Ride: Similar to a well-built 150–160cc motorcycle, the chassis and suspension are well-tuned, providing a comfortable ride and good handling. But it's crucial to take into account any potential disadvantages:Drawbacks:Build Quality Issues: A few users have brought up issues with the Kratos's build quality, pointing to irregular panel gaps, mediocre plastic quality, and claims of brittle turn indicators.Overheating Potential: Several evaluations, especially from the early test rides, indicated that the motor could overheat in steep areas, which would limit its performance. The manufacturer may have fixed this problem, but if you bike in mountainous terrain often, it's something to think about.Simple Display: The Kratos's display is less sophisticated than that of other contemporary EVs; some riders may find it less aesthetically pleasing and educational than a colored TFT screen. For environmentally aware riders looking for a practical, comfortable, and high-performing electric motorbike with a good range, the Kratos eV bike is an appealing choice overall. But before making a purchase, it's important to consider the possible downsides, especially the build quality issues and overheating problems. It's advisable to find out if the manufacturer has taken official action to resolve the overheating problem.
