I thought wrong before buying but after buying this my experience was amazing.
The looks were amazing eye-catching looks
Performance was peak in this price 0 to 100 in 6sec in
my case
The sound is also impressive not that loud but it's good at this price
The mileage we can't expect as high because it's a 400cc engine
You can feel premium sound, and driving experience and most of you'll feel excited riding this
In some cases at higher revs engine vibrates a lot but it's common in this powerful engine

Tips for Triumph Old Generation Speed 400 2023 [2023-2024]

Maintain services on-time best you can give to your bike

Worst buying experience. The bike messed up after the first service. Numerous issues. The bike itself is lovely on the shelf which attracts you to buy but it is a trap. Inside is Bajaj make no matter how my Triumph logos they put. Go for RE at least you will not own a Lemon. Never go for such premium brands selling pasta samaan.

The Triumph Speed 400 is a fantastic entry-level bike that blends classic styling with modern performance. Its 398cc single-cylinder engine delivers a smooth, responsive ride, ideal for city commutes as well as longer highway stretches. With 39.5 hp, it provides enough power for both new and experienced riders while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency.

the bike's performance is so good in the performance side you love the bike and milage is could be a major issue the milage is around 21 to 23 which is expensive to maintain for example the triumph side light cost around 14 k the spare parts all imported so there cost bit expensive and front light protector around 6.5k and engine guard around 6k the bike is very good to use and you have simile on face when riding but spare parts are so expensive and fuel indicator is dumb nothing useful always show low fuel there are some cons but the only nice thing is good to ride bike and brakes are also very responsive ok this is helpful to you I think this are pros and cons

  • Triumph Speed 400 quality issues

    Prasad Narkar

The buying experience was good but that is just a one-day story.. bike looks classy and the built quality seems impressive to the eyes but what has gone into making the product holds more importance in the long run.
I have ridden the Speed 400 for 1150 km only and I have faced the first major issue with the bike, the Key Lockset is compromised due to which the instrument console doesn't turn on after putting in the key and turning it on. So the bike surely has some serious quality issues and I'm certainly not happy as a customer.

I have been using this bike for 3 months now, and I feel it is a great entry-level bike from Triumph. You will enjoy it a lot in the city and on short rides. I have observed some rusting on the nuts and bolts, but they are being replaced for free.
Overall, it is a great bike and I am enjoying it every time

  • Problem with triumph dealerships

My buying experience is very bad no proper communication with the showroom guys they didn't give me the tool kit exhaust was rusty during delivery and it's still rusty, no proper guidance for registration it's been 1 month 18 days since my registration is still pending they are not getting it done so I asked them to transfer the agent fee I'll do it by my self. They'll say there is a cashback of rs10,000/-that may take a very long time to transfer into your account.
The riding experience is very good performance is superb I didn't even expect this power for speed 400. But mud splash is mandatory get it fixed in the showroom itself if you buying speed400. Seat adjustment should be there because it pushes you forward when you apply breaks.
Looks wise it's perfect seating is slightly leaning forward.
First general service oil change and oil filter change they charged me 2,160/- with no invoice no Bill receipt and no washing was done. I asked for Mud Splash they said no stock also showed them the rusty exhaust that was there from day one when I bought it already I raised a complaint still they are still discussing They don't have any customer service.

Triumph Speed 400 is the best single-cylinder bike I have ever ridden so far. Engine is very powerful and responsive. It is a race-oriented bike and It competes fine with any 600cc superbike and trust me, Royal Enfield Continental GT and Super Meteor is just a garbage in-front of this bike. Triumph is Triumph.

fit and finish were fabulous, and traction control, and better performance, I recently had a trip of 500 km the comfort was impressive. I didn’t feel any drawbacks to it. It had very smooth gear shifting when compared to ktm bikes, and throttle responsive was good compared to the recent launch of the Himalayan 450 service cost was reasonable.

  • Best bike In segment

    Nirmit Gorecha

I recently had the chance to explore the Triumph Speed 400, and I'm quite impressed with several aspects of this bike. The design is sleek and modern, offering a stylish look that stands out on the road. The build quality feels solid, and the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable ride, even over longer distances.
However, there was a significant inconvenience that I encountered. I live in Jamnagar, but the nearest showroom is located in Ahmedabad. This distance makes it challenging to access the showroom for test rides, servicing, or any immediate assistance I might need. The travel time and effort required to reach the showroom are considerable, and it's something potential buyers from similar locations should keep in mind.
Overall, while the Triumph Speed 400 itself meets my expectations in terms of performance and aesthetics, the logistical challenge of having the showroom far from my location is a notable downside.
Feel free to adjust this further if necessary!
