Nice bike to drive and comfort was okay. I bought this bike for 2.7 lakh and it looks good when compared to other me.
The performance was superb and the services were brilliant. The riding experience was good, On the first ride I travelled 150 km which made me very comfortable and I wasn't tired after the ride.

I don't think I've to repeat the exact same thing that the online reviewers said good about this bike, I stand with their opinion.
What I have to share is the things I didn't expect from this bike. The first thing is the headlight, the visibility is poor and if it rains it gets worse, especially on roads with portholes, you can't see something that is 5 or more meters away and the ride confidence in night is very low.
The second thing is the muck that gets thrown into the pillion seat, I was riding in the night for more than 100 kms in the rain and after the journey, I saw the muck splashed over my pillion seat, maybe it was also splashed into my plastic raincoat. It is not a bike for the monsoon.
The third thing is the most hurtful thing, the build quality. The bike is premium, there is no question about it, but once during a daily ride I lost my balance on a slippery road (any bike would have slipped the road was under repair and was raining) and was reclining to the left. I was able to hold it almost 80% and then I had no choice. The impact of 20% got a bend on my handlebar, it is not expected for a bike of this price range and which is meant for scrambling.

  • Triumph - the magical motorcycle

Triumph Scrambler has a thing, a magical thing. It attracts you, it draws your attention. It has a lot of pros with only a few cons.
    PROS:
    - This bike has a character.
    - Best fit & finish and detailing
    - amazing power and a nice torquey bike.
    - feels great while riding because of the seat height i.e., 835 mm.
    - Suspensions are too good
    - the design and the triumph badging almost on every part of the motorcycle.
Overall, it's a lovely performance multipurpose motorcycle which is made for the bike maniacs and lovers.
    CONS:
The fuel tank could be of 14 litres.
The headlight throw could have been better
    - The service network should improve in the coming time
I went for it after a long research in the segment and I would suggest you go for it as well. Take the test ride, you will love it.

  • Superior Build Quality from a Superior Brand

It’s worth the money you spend. The build quality is the highlighting feature of this bike, Triumph has set a standard for all other manufacturers including India and others not to sell cheap or medium-quality materials on their products, it’s notable that many Indian and other manufacturers focus on 400- 450 CC segment as their premium segment still fails to deliver quality products at the same price range with triumph’s entry-level 400 CC machines.
It may miss out on many features that others offer, but still at the end of the day how many of us use such fancy features in our daily commuting or our touring days !!? I suggest relying on the quality of the bikes rather than going after poor-quality machines with a lot of features.

The buying experience was amazing. We went to the Kolhapur showroom at 1:30 pm on 30th July 2024 & we received our Scrambler 400X by 6:00 pm the same day with the registration number plate mounted. Riding in the city as well as on highways is just a pleasure. Looks outstanding. Fit and finish amazing. Performance is outstanding. The service network needs expansion as from my home service station is 115Km. No cons.! Enjoy the pros. Felt in love with this bike.!

The riding experience of this bike is amazing. Has stunner looks and performance was more than enough. This is one bike that can do it all.
The only con is that you will feel vibrations during lower and higher RPMs as well but once you get used to it, there is nothing like it

  • Power, Looks and Performance, That's Triumph Scrambler 400x for you..

What to say about this bike? I wanted a bike with a higher power, a rugged look and touring capacity. And I got this Scrambler which suffices all my needs. It's just the best-performing bike and does justice to its specifications and build quality. Not saying from any reviews but had personally experienced it. After 4 months of buying this bike, I went for a long ride from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Completed 667 kms in 12 hrs 30 minutes. Avg speed 70-80. Hardly too 2 to 3 halt and the speed range was 80 to 120. Top speed achieved 145 kmph.. And came back after 2 days of stay at Hyd. Total around 1300 kms in 3 days.. The bike didn't give a hiccup after that stretch. I was amazed by the performance and nowhere in between the ride it gave me any signs of uneasiness. Comfort riding and brilliant performance. I am happy that I chose Triumph Scrambler 400x as my bike. Sorry for the long essay!

Usually, people go to the showroom and choose their motorcycle, but this particular machine chooses the rider. If you are lucky enough, you get the tickets because after that, it's all a joyride for you. Enough storylines, let's come back to the topic. Scrambler. Oh, man!!! What a machine to love
This motorcycle is everything you expect from a motorcycle at least in my case so.
    Appearance - 9/10
Just a little glimpse and you are attracted by her looks, finishing and craftsmanship. The detailing, the beautiful paint (particularly Matte Khaki), the design elements, even the nut and bolts everything looks neat and clean and adds a beauty element on this motorcycle.
    Riding Stance - 9/10
I rode 375km in a single stretch on a hilly terrain without breaking a sweat. Do I have to say more? Keep in mind, that the pillion add little discomfort and you probably won't do 50-60 km in a single go. The pillion seat is a little stiff and so does the riders. But I did extra double memory foam so for me, the seat is just like a couch.
    Maintenance - 9.5/10
Being a triumph (well at least on paper) i thought the servicing would be on a higher side but I was wrong. Maintenance of this motorcycle is minimal and the service interval is 1600 or 1 year which is mind-boggling. Spare parts are cheaper too. Well done Triumph India.
    Pricing - 9.5/10
A few years back, BMW came with G310R and GS310. They thought they would take the Indian consumer by their side but they messed up totally on pricing and maintenance cost. Triumph took note and kept the price and maintenance cost as low as possible and people loved it. They are entering into Triumph and further they will upgrade into Triumph's bigger bikes. That's the plan of Triumph and they executed well.
    Competition
However, I don't think it has a direct competition because Scramblers are of different leagues. Do you love mountains? Scrambler is for you. Do you love Rough terrain? Scrambler is for you. Do you love touring? Scrambler is for you. You love city rides? Scrambler is for you, my friend. It's an all-rounder class of motorcycles.
But people love to compare it with Himalayan. Himalayan is an Offroad breed. Its only strength is in Offroad terrain. You don't want to ride Himmy on a city ride. Right? But scrambler, you can take it anywhere and the Triumph logo adds an extra smile on your face. Some say Yezdi Scrambler is also a competition and I laughed at them badly. Do you really think Yezdi is a competition to Scrambler 400x? Man, Yezdi barely surviving in India. Don't make this mistake.
    Verdict
Considering the brand's legacy, pricing, maintenance cost, it's all-rounder ability and also for a better resale perspective, you can choose Scrambler 400x blindly. I did it and I have zero regrets.

  • Triumph Scrambler 400 X

    Arun Sudhakaran

    Gaurav

    Mujeeb Rahman Mt

  • Dream bike... Expectations come true.

The buying experience was decent but not great which is what we expect from Triumph Kukatpally

    Mahesh

    Tips for other riders

Gives a long service gap period, unlike other brands. 16000 km between 2 services.. 1st Service cost me 1800 which I think is minimal for a bike in 400 cc segment with an International brand.

  • Worth every penny

    Amit Kashyap
