The Triumph Speed 400 is a modern retro motorcycle. It features a timeless roadster design and a good number of features for the price.
The Speed 400 gets a set of new colours. These are Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Racing Red. The colours are quite striking to look at. They also contrast well with the blacked-out engine and exhaust pipe. As for the styling, the round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and slim tail section are as per the modern-retro design handbook. Triumph has made changes to the seat by adding more foam for better comfort. The seat height, however, has gone up to 803mm. There are adjustable levers as well.
The bike’s frame is suspended by a USD fork and a monoshock. It rides on 17-inch wheels shod with new, higher-profile, Vredestein tyres.
Powering the bike is a 399cc, liquid-cooled motor that pumps out 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The single-cylinder engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a torque-assist clutch.
In terms of competition, the bike goes up against the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.

Riding a Triumph is a great experience. Firstly, let's talk about the looks; it resembles the Triumph models like the Speed Twin and Bonneville, and the Speed 400 looks fantastic. The performance is usable not punchy but very linear power delivery. Especially at lower RPM, the motorcycle pulls you very strongly at lower Revs. The build quality of the motorcycle is very superior no wires no nut bolts nothing everything looks perfectCons. Indicators are very low quality they get foggy after washing water droplets are collected on indicators

The all rounder

It is a smoother riding experience than any other bike. Handling and power are perfectly blended. Even if in 6th gear this bike can overtake without downshift. Easily reach 140kmph on highways. Cruise at 100kmph without any vibrations. With the Balanced weight, you can ride through the traffic. I'm 5'5 in height and this bike is perfect for my height. Suspension is good. Pillion comfort is also best for long rides. I get a 30kmph average mileage for each style of ride. Lube & tightening the chain every 500km at the Triumph service center is the reason for it.

The purchase of the bike was smooth. I am reviewing the bike after riding it for a year. It still has the punchy acceleration that was there during the purchase. I have also done two services for which the experience was good. Overall it is a very good bike for the riders shifting to the 400 cc category.

I have used this bike for a test drive It was good but I have not owned it but planning to buy it in the future. I have also heard about this bike from so many people part of Triumph is a little expensive and service as compared to RE but overall the bike is good the red color is best so planning for this month.

Bought this bike 50 days before Completed 1300 and had my 1st service in 1000 km service was good it cost me 2056rs there is an app where you have to book an appointment and you also get a coupon for the 1st 2 services. The problem I felt while having long rides you can feel the heat from the left side cover and there is a slight change in sound when you ride above 90 km.
