  • Triumph Speed 400 is justified it's price

I got mine just 5 months ago and have ridden about 8500kms so I won't give you a detailed review. Others who have ridden a lot more can do that.
The bike is 10/10 in my opinion. Does everything beautifully. Handles well, grabs attention, is very powerful, and has amazing value for the quality it brings. I upgraded from a 160cc bike so it has been amazing.
It is also the most balanced \~30-40 BHP class bike there is. Can be measured and calm when you want it to be and extremely wild and angry if you let it be. It has two personalities, almost. At idling and in traffic, it will sound a lot like a thumper, but once you pull the throttle back, it screams like a triple and revs super quick. Very distinct behaviors in both modes.
That being said, I wouldn't say it is a good first-timer bike. It still pulls like mad if you let it and for new riders that can be tempting and dangerous. I recommend starting with a 150-250 cc bike with less than 25 bhp power.
Still, it is your decision and this is probably the best bike to start if you insist on a powerful bike. I am happy to answer any specific questions you have.

The Triumph Speed 400 is a well-rounded, agile motorcycle offering a premium feel at an accessible price point, making it a great choice for riders looking for a fun and engaging ride with good handling, a peppy engine, and a stylish design, all while maintaining a comfortable riding position, especially in city traffic; however, some might find the engine slightly rough at low RPMs and its road presence not as imposing as other Triumph models

  • Fantastic modern classic with easy ride and handling.

Riding a Triumph is a great experience. Firstly, let's talk about the looks; it resembles the Triumph models like the Speed Twin and Bonneville, and the Speed 400 looks fantastic.
The performance is usable not punchy but very linear power delivery. Especially at lower RPM, the motorcycle pulls you very strongly at lower Revs.
The build quality of the motorcycle is very superior no wires no nut bolts nothing everything looks perfect
Cons. Indicators are very low quality they get foggy after washing water droplets are collected on indicators

It is a smoother riding experience than any other bike. Handling and power are perfectly blended. Even if in 6th gear this bike can overtake without downshift. Easily reach 140kmph on highways. Cruise at 100kmph without any vibrations. With the Balanced weight, you can ride through the traffic. I'm 5'5 in height and this bike is perfect for my height. Suspension is good. Pillion comfort is also best for long rides. I get a 30kmph average mileage for each style of ride. Lube & tightening the chain every 500km at the Triumph service center is the reason for it.

  • Great Bike for Beginner's to shift to 400 cc bike

The purchase of the bike was smooth. I am reviewing the bike after riding it for a year. It still has the punchy acceleration that was there during the purchase. I have also done two services for which the experience was good. Overall it is a very good bike for the riders shifting to the 400 cc category.

  • The all rounder

I have used this bike for a test drive It was good but I have not owned it but planning to buy it in the future. I have also heard about this bike from so many people part of Triumph is a little expensive and service as compared to RE but overall the bike is good the red color is best so planning for this month.
